Me and my partner loved this app. We even bought a yearly subscription. After not using it for a few months we decided to come back to it, however when we tried to log in it seems that both of our accounts have been deleted. This feels very scammy. The yearly subscription wasn’t cheap, and now all of that money is down the drain. I would highly recommend taking this into consideration if you are thinking about buying premium.
Paid for a year and it stopped working
I’m hoping this catches the eye of the devs because I’ve emailed them over a week ago to no response.
First I want to say that I actually do enjoy this app. It has a few bugs, and the wording to some of the literature isn’t always correct, but it’s service is valuable to me. My significant and I were really enjoying the games and quizzes which were providing us insight into one another as well as some interesting suggestions from the results.
I liked it so much that after the trial and a month of paid usage afterwards I signed up for the year to save money and keep the service. But here is where the story takes a turn.
The app stopped working. I can take quizzes, my significant can too. I receive hers on my dashboard to respond to. She does NOT receive mine. We’ve both logged in and out, she redownloaded the app, but nothing has worked. I did 53 activities of all sorts and she cannot view a single one nor respond to them. Once again, customer support has not responded to me. I’m going to seek a refund at this point.
Business practices.
From the brief time I spent on the app, the content seems decent. I deleted because the developer’s approach to sales feels very manipulative. 1. Required to register with email before accessing any part of the app. 2. Then required to through onboarding and prompted to invite partner to join the app only to find out that you are required to register for a subscription without being able to explore the content. 2. After declining the subscription, I was routed to a few of couples quizzes, and couldn’t go far before hitting the paywall again.
To be clear, I don’t mind paying for quality services and the annual cost of Beloved is not exorbitant. I would much rather pay for an app with my money than have my personal data harvested. The turn-offs for me are: 1. The developer’s approach… requiring registration, making you invest time into the app set up, inviting your partner, then constantly leading you back to the paywall—annoying. 2. I didn’t take the time to read the TOS/Privacy, but it seems with Beloved, you pay for a subscription and your data is harvested. Why does this dev need to track Purchases, User Content, Contact info, Usage Data, etc??

Modern therapy
I got it and it makes us SUPER aware of our relationship. All aspects. We did tell one another no judgement at all on answers or this won’t work. Y’all this app is modern therapy. I’m serious 💕 I fell in love again and again like when we started dating but after 10 years and marriage!
Won’t open sometimes
Once we paid for the app we are having problems getting it to open to complete assignments.

Difficult to navigate, incorrect answers
Not intuitive. Very difficult to navigate. No notification that spouse took a quiz. Gave incorrect results….. IE we both answered housework and the app talked about tv binging. We deleted app after taking only 2 Quizzes. Great idea but this app needs a lot of work before it’s helpful. We did have a fun argument about the results until we finally figured out the app gave results for answers we DIDN'T choose!
Scams users out of money
I had downloaded this app, to try it out. During the trial period, it was not compatible with my significant other, therefore I had no use for the app. I had cancelled it during the trial period, as did my significant other did on his phone. He was never charged for cancellation. I however, have had issues with this app continuously trying to charge me for the yearly subscription, I have contacted the developer several times and asked them to delete the subscription I cancelled during trial period, and yet I have received NO response and they CONTINUALLY keep attempting to charge my card. I even deleted the account tied to the card . Be very cautious if you download this app and do not give any payment information if you are not 100% sure you are happy with the app and are going to be able to utilize it

Try to sign on with Apple it won't take so pretty much force me to show me e-mail and I ain't having it
