If you live in a PA district where Berkheimer is the collector, you can use this app to easily submit and file your local EIT tax returns. * Fast, Easy Filing! * Get your refund sooner! * Save time! * Save postage! * Save paper and trees! Currently two scenarios are supported: 1. Submit a completed paper return. If you have completed a Local Earned Income Tax Return, you can take photos of the return, any supporting documents and schedules, enter the amount owed or the refund amount, pay by credit card, and submit your return to Berkheimer. 2. Generate an EZ return if you only have W2s. If your EIT Return can be completed with only W2s, then you can take photos of your W2s and enter your employer and wage information. The app will calculate your tax liability or refund. Basic modern features are missing such as moving to the next text box when the expect number of digits are entered and Apple Pay. As a millennial that hardly ever uses mail, this app is decidedly worse than snail mail. You still have to manually fill out each field listed on your paper bill just to look up what you owe, because apparently they don’t link your account with your outstanding bills automatically.
