Q: Why there is a red circle on the icon?
A: This is a new feature we just added in the new version: app icon badge to indicate the daily animal activity index, which enables quick peek without launching the app.
For example, a red 4 mean today the animal activity index is 4 out of 6.
You can turn the badge on and off by going to Settings->Notification->Best Hunting Times.

I’ve used the app for several years but last year the data was not accurate. I use to do updates and it would work for a little while but now when trying to update it does not work. For example of what is going on today the sunrise it shows for Louisiana is 9:32AM when actually it was 6:59AM. All other major/minor activity times is off as well. I have truly enjoyed using the app in past years but this app as it is right now, is useless. Update is over a year old. So I must really give it zero stars at this time although I have to rate it to submit this review.
Wind information
Occasionally have a “glitch” getting wind info, but after sending an email to report it, it’s resolved almost immediately.
And the problem is seldom, if ever app related. Great service from the support team!

Fix wind animation
Love this app had it for years . All of a sudden since December the wind will not animate. When will you fix this issue ??? Very annoying ! I’ve checked all settings & deleted app several times & rebooted and nothing. Hope it gets fixed soon !!
Wind is broken
For almost a month now the wind animation has been broken and it’s the main reason I use this app. Don’t waste your money

All the sudden the wind animation does not load? Can we get that corrected? I removed app & reloaded, still get the error message? Love all the features of this app when they are working. Very beneficial before heading out to the field or planning that trip to the woods. Thanks

For all those that feel the app doesn’t work
I have been using this app for years. I think it is one of the most accurate on the market. For all those that feel the app doesn’t work, I am rolling on the floor laughing at you. People, this app is a guide that helps you determine better times to hunt. Don’t think you are going to walk on the woods at the time the app states is good and think you will have a chance to take game, much less see game. Your success comes from your hunting skill level, not the app. I have tracked my success and have seen 70 to 80 percent of the time this app to be correct on movement times. But I also know my land and how the game on it reacts. Become a better hunter and don’t blame your experience on the app. It is a useful tool which I would and have recommended to many.
Outdated - Don't buy.
Bought it all the times are messed up. Says the sun will rise here at 3:38AM and then sunset will be at 11:48pm. Waste of $3.
Great App
The app works great. The main reason i bought it was for the deer activity by moon phases guide. I never pay enough attention to figure that stuff out on my own and this allows you to plan days off weeks in advance. Also, read the instructions. I didn't and found some of the stuff a little confusing so I emailed their support staff and they helped almost immediately, however all of the answers were in the instructions had i bothered to read them.
