Better Day includes an awesome date complication. By default, it displays the weekday, month and day. You can configure the complication to display whichever part of the date you like, or a small graphic of the current month. For multicolour watch faces, you can also change the accent colour.
When you tap the complication, you’ll see a detailed calendar for the current month. Scroll through the 12 months of the year using the Digital Crown. Move from year to year by swiping left and right.

bug: Infograph Modular
when using the Infograph Modular face, the complication can't be customized!
Still does not work properly
The complication is now updating but the calendar is 5 weeks behind and cannot change months.
Wish it worked
I keep adjusting how I want the complications to display, but it doesn’t update properly and display the version I select. Have uninstalled, reinstalled, same results 😕

Today is Friday the 5th but it is showing Tuesday the 15th. Other faces have right date and calendar shows right date. S4 issue?

has anyone tested this app before putting it in the app store? I bought the app based upon the description that it supports the large complication. The app even allows you to pick a style for that large/middle complication as a preset ... for no purpose ... as it will not populate that menu so there is no way to choose/use it - if u choose to buy this app know that it currently supports the small complications only
Meh
It is slightly better than the Apple calendar in theory. But any advantage is negated by its failure to update. What's the point of a complication that shows the date if it that date is yesterday's?
More Offset Days
Would love to have the option to offset the date to 180 days in the future as I frequently need this in my daily routine and it would be nice to be able to just glance down and see if
