Bevel: Health & Performance

I’ve never written a review before on the app store, but this app is incredible! Great UX and amazing data and insights. Two things that I would suggest need updating the options to add “Did you have any sugar before bed” because I’ve noticed this impacts sleep. And also the stress score seems to spike when I workout as it’s partly based on HR, this needs an update to negate this when a workout is logged in my opinion.

I’ve been a long time Whoop user and this does more for waaaaaay less. Apple Health technically does what this does but Bevel displays it in such a meaningful way on both iPhone and Watch that there’s no comparison. It’s pivotal for a healthy lifestyle without the Apple ecosystem in my opinion.

Fantastic app, love it. Just feel £49 is too expensive to pay as a one off payment and £5 per month is an expense that many will struggle with EVEN though the info given is amazing. Thanks though, am loving the app.

Don’t be fooled. Charged £50 but refused to refund when cancelled the subscription.

The main issue is, the app is more of a gimmick than backed up by anything scientific. Its calculations are all based on generic information and its things like “sleep debt” are nonsense. Sleep debt is a misunderstood myth. The app doesn’t calculate the correct water amount for the user. It doesn’t manage sleep correctly, strain is absolute nonsense. I’m not sure how it calculates its stress either but apparently a nice relaxing morning with my wife without moving has triggered as “high” on my stress score. All in, the app seems to be a bit of a gimmick that tries to compete with whoop. Unfortunately, I’ve quickly realised that I need to find an alternative.

I’m incredibly grateful to the creators of this app for bringing their amazing idea to life. I love everything about it and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

I’m one of those people who literally never leaves reviews, but I absolutely had to for this! The data, the layout… everything about it is just perfect. I’ve tested out so many other similar apps, and honestly, nothing compares. I’m also so impressed with how sleek and advanced everything is, especially given how new you guys are! Add a large helping of Whoop, add a dash of Garmin watch, blend it with Apple Health and you get the very best in fitness apps. Great gamification of health and fitness with a superb UI. Not just my fav fitness app. My favorite app, period. So glad I ditched my Whoop band for this!!

I’ve tried a lot of these style of apps. Whoop, Athlytic, Heartly and even Garmins recovery features and can honestly this is the best of them all. The app looks fabtastic, the data and insights are carefully curated and it is constantly being updated. Devs are also super active on the subreddit so you really feel in the development loop. 11/10 all day long.
