I think this has the best marshall models ever! The cabinet emulation also sounds very realistic. Love it!
I was very surprised when I first used this app, I thought it was going to be one of those usual run of the mill apps but no!! It is so easy to use and the amount of free content means you can get what you need straight away! It’s also fun to use, changing the amp colours and knobs and even changing the name too, I have recommended this to loads of people to use.
Any chance you could make the interface bigger or expandable as it is way too small iPhone to be usable and practical, almost impossible to be of any use.
Pleased with the App but there are several really great apps like this. Bias Amp is one of the bread of Apps that what to charge you twice, once for the iPhone App and again for the iPad version. Doesn't stop there though. They will charge you again for any Expansion Packs. You will have to buy these for both devices. Bias Amp may be right for you but I would check out the competition before making your decision to buy. Otherwise it could prove very expensive.
I'm only 1 starring this because since the last update it's won't open the app at all! Such a shame because this is an amazing app!
I have never wrote a review for an app yet! This is my first review.. This app is incredible. I'm using the apogee jam 96k and krk headphones to practice my chops and the tones are realistic!! Better than any line 6 gear out there and miles better than amplitube. I'd happy use this for recording. Price of app is for nothing and I'd happily pay 5x maybe even 10x the price the price. Lol Love the jam up app too for practicing and playing along with backing tracks. I'm blown away. Best and smartest app I've used.
This to me is be the best sounding mobile amp sim out there. It really sounds closer to the desktop sims than any other I've tried (I've tried them all). There are a lot of options to chose from here which could be daunting but in reality they're simple yet very effective at improving the sound. Also there are a lot of people who are uploading some excellent presets which you can try and download in seconds. I also feel the excellent support team need a mention. I found a minor bug, reported it, and the update fix for it was ready the following day... Pretty damn impressive package overall. ps I don't work for bias, just a happy new fan.
In concept superb, and the sounds are actually very good. However it rarely works! Every time a new update from apple arrives it breaks the app. Also just to make things even more irritating, when you email support they say problem resolved just because they know it's the update and are working on a solution. Sorry, but if I can't use it the problem is most definitely not "resolved"! Fact of the matter is, since I bought it two months ago, I have only used it Once!
This is desktop quality software. I've used amp sims since the first guitar rig, and my fav so far was amplitube3, by a clear mile. This is better. It's so customizable - even down to the name and look of your amp. Real quality. I'd have paid three times as much and still been happy.
