Great App

Excellent bible app

I have used this Bible app for years it is excellent, good range of bibles and range of bible helps, commentary, dictionary and devotional studies.

Not the most user friendly

I bought this app as it was the only one that offered a chronological Bible. I’m trying to read this over two years, but it stubbornly won’t let me do so, despite the fact that it says the reading ends in July 26. If you buy commentaries , etc., you might find it quite difficult to make them synchronize with whatever verse you’re reading at the time. Olive Tree could learn a lot from Lardian here - it’s a far more user-friendly platform and remains the one that I recommend.

Just to say thank you OLIVE TREE BIBLE. Your app is the best bible app on the Apple platform. There are many great things that I find in your app that you can’t find in other bible apps. Like when I mark / highlight a verse or make a note on a verse, it is marked in every version of the bible in the olive tree. I don’t have to mark every version. 2. I can get every study bible or bible dictionary I want. Etc. there’s a lot of books. Your app is like a candy shop for ministers. It’s like going to a BIBLE SCHOOL. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS FOR THE GOOD WORK YOU DO.

Consistently good!

I’ve been using Olive Tree Bible App now daily for many years and it has never let me down. It has a good number of bibles and other free material, and also offers a great selection of bibles, books and commentaries at a reasonable price. It has become the most important app my wife and I use!

Super for devotions and study

I have used the Bible App by Olive Tree for many years. I have used to it follow reading plans and read through the whole Bible or themed sections. I also use it along with my BRF notes. I have the King James, New King James, NIV, and the Message. I even have an original Greek version (unfortunately, all Greek to me!). I also have several different commentaries. The navigation through the Bible is quick and simple and the app works without advertisements. The verse you are reading may have a concordance reference to another part. Click on it and a pop up appears of the reference. With another click you can go back to the place you where originally. One brilliant thing is text size. You can, very easily, set it to suit you. I would recommend this app to anyone wanting a Bible reading app and it is much more too.

My favourite bible app!…. And more!

I initially got this to buy the ESV study for my iPad….. then added it to my phone….. then purchased an ESV archeological and then Interlinear…… I love that I now have HALOT & BDAG through this app - honestly so easy to use, and I tend to have my ESV on screen and then have the interlinear open on parallel - and I can easily search to my lexicons for study of the Hebrew and Aramaic using HALOT or the Greek using BDAG - incredible for full in depth Bible study in your pocket everywhere you go! I totally recommend this - whatever translation / paraphrase is your favourite - it’s all available here, and to me - each purchase I’ve made has been so incredible and this is just so easy to use! Thanks guys for such a wonderful app! Bible study on the go xoxo

This is the one!

The best Bible library app. Synced across every platform, massive theological resources, easy to master. Having tried Bible Gateway, e-sword & Accordance, this Olive Tree app has my allegiance. It's a pleasure to use, and has enriched my Bible engagement really helpfully. 5 Stars.

Would not be without it. I love the different commentaries that help to develop my thinking and give a wholesome view of scripture.
