Bible Memory: VerseLocker

I thought I’d try this in spite of the several things it tracks. First screen: create an account. Nope. You don’t need my information. If there is “no catch,” if it’s “truly free,” then you don’t need any info. The verses should be on device (I don’t want or need them saved elsewhere, synced, etc.), and there is zero *valid* reasons to require an account. Edit: your claims about what you do or don’t do are just that: claims. Again, you don’t need ANY information, so asking for it means you’re doing something you don’t need to do.

This app is exactly what I was looking for. It even allows verse audio readings so I can practice verses easily during my daily commute! Well done, Devs! I will be donating in appreciation!

I’ve tried a few different memorization apps but this one fits my needs the best. I love that it uses the initials of a verse as a memory tool. I used to write out the first letter of every word of a verse before I had 5 kids. As a busy mom it’s nice to have that step already done and makes it easy to review and practice verses while nursing or rocking a baby. I also love that it’s free and that multiple translations are free.

I did start to get familiar with it but was unable to do anything (illness). And so I’m reasserting myself but I can’t get anything to open except a white screen. Tried deleting and reloading. Still nothing. IOS Moving on!

I love your App and the only improvement for me would be if somehow the verse reference numbers could be removed when memorizing several verses or a chapter. If there is a way to do it already, please let me know. Thank you for the App! Sharon Mannon

Verse locker is a great tool for memorizing Scripture. The various modes progress from easier to more difficult and makes learning verses like a game. I have noticed significant progress after using this app for only 5 days. I plan to recommend it to my teen Bible study group and see what they think!

I am not great with tech skills, but this app was as easy as tech could be for me to figure out and the MANY ways to help master verses is so much faster and more fun. Having mastered verses saved to keep reviewing is also necessary which makes this even more helpful.

The app has been really helpful and easy to use. Thank you for developing such a great way to help us memorize scripture.

I have had wonderful success learning with the app and now it won't connect to my internet. Very frustrating since I used it to study my memory verses.

I am a participant of the National Bible Bee competition, and I have to memorize over 900 verses for this competition. VerseLocker is SO helpful for reviewing, listening to my passages, and helping learn new passages quickly and accurately. :D
