Learner Plan Includes:
Everything in the Flashcard plan and
A structured curriculum of fifty-two lessons that enables you to learn Greek or Hebrew in a year. Biblingo also includes the flexibility of learning at your desired pace. Our goal is to help you build confidence with the language as soon as possible. From lesson one, you start with basic reading comprehension exercises that progress throughout the curriculum to Bible-level reading complexity.

Each lesson includes new vocabulary and grammar concepts, video explanations, text-book support, and interactive exercises to practice reading, listening, writing, and speaking.

Each lesson is broken into four bite-sized sections to be spread over a week and alternated with Biblingo’s smart selected review options curated specifically for your needs.

Love Biblingo!

I studied Biblical Hebrew and Greek in seminary, but had lost most of it. Heard about Biblingo and decided to give it a try. Love it! Not only is it an effective way to learn the languages, it helps me stay motivated and engaged (HUGE piece of second language acquisition). Highly recommend not only the app, but engaging with the larger Biblingo ecosystem (like the online community and the podcast).

I've been using Biblingo for Greek for about 9 months and have really enjoyed it. I have progressed a lot in my Greek abilities. The app is well structured based on current second language acquisition best practice. The designers know what they're doing and I love that they just cut their prices in half. I've recommended the app to several people. Here are a few things I'd like to see improved: 1) I chose the Koine prounciation but it gives me Erasmian pronunciation for several words and for all of the readings. I wish it would give Koine pronunciation everywhere. 2) I wish it would just lead me through what I need to do in the home tab. You would think "Up Next", in the home tab would be the thing you need to do next. But if you go to that every time it skips the videos and the reading. You have to go find those in the "Learn" tab. And even in the Learn tab it tries to send you to the next lesson even if you haven't completed the Reading Comprehension exercise yet. It seems like a simple thing to fix. 3) I wish there was more review built in. The review section on the home tab is great. I do what shows up there first every time I open the app. But I feel like I've forgotten a lot of words because they haven't shown up in Review in months. I could try to go find them but I don't know what I've forgotten. I would like a way to easily review all the words I've learned. Ideally it would give me words I've gotten wrong more often than words I get right every time. But I'd be fine if all the words I've learned show up equally. 4) In the fluency drills, when you're supposed to fill in a noun, I wish the articles weren't in the prompt. It's too easy to just match the ending of the article without figuring out what case it needs to be. And best practice for language acquisition is to learn nouns with their article anyway. 5) (This is probably a lot of work to implement, but) I’d love to be able to easily look up words I don’t know in the readings. If I could tap or hold a word to see it’s gloss that would make me enjoy the readings a lot more. There are usually a few words in each reading I’ve forgotten and it’s a hassle to look them up so i don’t go back and review readings as often as I should.

Biblingo is the cutting edge for biblical language learning. I tried trudging through a grammar for a few months, once I found Biblingo, there was no going back. If you want efficiency this program is the place.

I’ve been using Biblingo to learn Hebrew for a few months. I have found it to be helpful and easy to navigate. The visuals for vocabulary are effective. Early on, there is reading practice with comprehension questions. Also, there are vocabulary decks that align with other Hebrew grammars like “Basics of Biblical Grammar”. There are some things I don’t like though. First are the videos teaching the letter sounds. When speaking the consonant sounds, the instructor adds a vowel sound. “Buh, muh, duh” instead of a clean sound “B, M, D” That may not sound like a big deal but as an English language reading tutor I know the confusion those extra sounds create. Second, the algorithm for review is not sufficient. With second language acquisition there needs to be way more review and repetition than is provided. Thankfully there is a way to go back and repeat all parts of every lesson. However, it would be fantastic to have more review built in to the review decks. Lastly I sometimes find the grammar instructional videos to be too brief and confusing. Even with my “complaints”, I recommend Biblingo as a starting place to learning Biblical Hebrew and Greek.

I am so thankful for Biblingo! This course is well worth your time and finances if you are looking to learn! I was learning through a Hebrew grammar for two years and was struggling even after 2 years. I went through the Biblingo’s Hebrew course and in 9 months I have completed the 52 lessons and am now able to read with an astronomically greater ease, still learning and collecting vocabulary and syntax as I go, but I highly recommend Biblingo. I am starting Greek and it might take me a little longer because I am a little more unfamiliar going in, but I know that it will be worth it! Thank you Biblingo!

I can’t even use the app because I never received an email to sign up. I’ve tried two different emails and contacting their customer support - nothing. Someone else clearly had this problem and the issue was never fixed. This is an extremely fatal flaw in the design and makes the app, literally, unusable

As someone who has had to learn and become fluent in a second language as an adult I understand the difficulties of language acquisition. The way Biblingo has brought to life the biblical languages is wildly impressive. I thought I’d be able to put together my own language learning program to learn Greek as I was able to do so already with another language but I was getting stuck, overwhelmed, and confused. Biblingo has brought koine Greek to life in a clear and streamlined manner that has all the components and organization needed to become a fluent reader of God’s Word in the languages in which He inspired them. As a fellow learner, please use this app and invest the time to be able to read the Word as it was inspired. It’s by far the best learning platform I’ve ever come across for the biblical languages.

Great Tool

I enjoy using this app. I often have to use multiple strokes to advance to the next screen on my iPad as the app doesn’t seem to consistently recognize gestures. I’m using version 1.1.4 (23).
