Billo Creator is a great app for UGC creators. I'm a beginner but have already made a couple hundred dollars using the app. I expect to make several hundred dollars a month once I get up to speed .

Yeah, guys.... With such a policy to criators, you have a short way to flush down the toilet. Change your managers who have been hurt by life, I think they are set on closing your business.

Used to love this app

I’ve been using Billo for about 8 months now. When I first started using it, I loved it. It was a great way to get started in UGC and start building out my portfolio while making some extra money. However, a few things have changed that have really affected how good the app once was. The biggest change is that they took away the creators ability to send a personalized message to a brand when applying for a brief. This was a great way to help stand out to brands when applying. When this option was available, I could apply to 20-30 briefs and easily get selected for 2-5 of them. Now that I can’t send these messages, I’m lucky to get selected for one brief a week. I currently have 64 applications submitted and I have yet to be accepted for any of them. Without the ability to send those messages, I’m just another face in a sea of probably 100+ creators who apply for the same brief. I feel that this is bad for both the creators and brands. I’ve created close to 100 videos on Billo and I have a perfect 5 star rating from brands as well as a 100% on time delivery rate. If a creator is willing to take the extra 30 seconds to send a personalized message to a brand, that means they’ll most likely go that extra step to make the video great for the brand as well. At least it does in my case. Now that it’s basically impossible to get selected for anything, I’m most likely going to abandon this app for others. Billo’s response to this would most likely be “when you apply for a brief the brand is able to see your video pitch on your profile as well as the tags and bio on your account to help them choose a creator.” The problem with this is that these are all super generic things. How are you supposed to stand out when every single person uses the same tags? I recently applied for a brand that was advertising a set of products that I’ve been using for years. I would’ve loved to have sent them a personal message about that when I submitted my application for their brief. The other thing I’ve noticed recently is what brands are asking for. More and more brands seem to be looking for almost studio-like, professional productions. I worked in production for years and some of the requests from these brands would take a reputable production company a minimum of 2 weeks to create. And you’re only given 5 days to complete the video on Billo once you have been selected. And that’s for a max payout of $70 - $120 if you’re a premium creator. When you first start on Billo as a n
