Binary Watch FAQ
Is Binary Watch free?
Yes, Binary Watch is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Binary Watch legit?
Not enough reviews to make a reliable assessment. The app needs more user feedback.
I’ve had an actual binary clock for some years, and have been looking for an app like it. What I want is for the app to (1) display seconds, (2) show hours, minutes, and seconds on three lines of up to 6 bits each (NOT binary-coded decimal), (3) have the option to not show decimal numbers next to the lights, and finally (4) do it all on a widget. Of the apps I have seen, this one comes the closest, failing only the last criterion — the widget does not show seconds and alway shows the decimal numbers. I’m hoping that the developer will give the widget the same options that the full-screen display has, in which case I I’ll give the app the full 5 stars.
UPDATE: Thanks DejaWorks for your reply! I do, however, have a couple of *decimal* digital clock widgets (3rd party, not Apple) that show seconds and update the widget ever second (search for “clock widget seconds” in the App Store). Is there some reason that this can’t be done with binary dots instead of decimal numerals??
P.S. I’m giving you 5 stars for at least trying, and for other fixed in the widget. And while you’re at it, how about a color selection in the widget?
Help With Widget??
If you can help me figure out how this works as a widget, this will get 5 stars. So far, I do not see that as an option despite the description saying it is. Please let me know!
Good binary clock, too much bloom
It would be nice if we could use our mini-LED and OLED displays to their fullest, and not have so much artificial bloom on the binary indicators. The random stripe in the background could also be enjoyably removed. No reason for it to be there, other than to distract from the clock itself and waste a bit of extra battery.
Nice Clock
Nice clock but I would like a BCD option. Also a widget would be nice!
Just Great
It's incredible and accurate.
Why so small?
The clock is small. There doesn’t seem to be a way to make the clock display bigger. On the watch the clock could be fully twice as big, it’s so small it’s hard to read. The settings in the app don’t seem to control the widget or the watch app.
Nice Format but Not in Widget

Cool if you like Binary
I own a binary wrist watch so this app is pretty cool, they should have option for 24hr or 12hr.
If you are just getting into it you can see the numbers in the hours, min, and sec. Once you know how to read it you can turn the numbers off and only you will know the time. People seem impressed with my wrist watch so the same should happen with this app.
