Bipolar UK Mood Tracker Reviews

Good, but could be better

natashajane242022 on

I really like this app, however, you can’t log your moods accurately. Recently (and this is on going) I have been experiencing a mixed episode. And I can’t rate my mood on the current system as it goes either manic or depressed or in between, which is logged as “balanced” where my in between at the moment isn’t balanced at all - it’s manic AND depressed. So how do I log that?? Also, I can’t delete old medications for some reason, even though the option to do so it there. And finally, the words to describe your day/mood… 5 only? Really? With someone who has bipolar affective disorder: type 1 sometimes 5 is not enough. And it won’t accurately reflect that day not being able to use more than 5 words. However that said, I think it’s a really useful tool to anyone who has a mood disorder! So long as it’s improved a little. Since I’ve had this app, nearly a year, it’s not been updated once! So may be a bit of maintenance and improvements would be a good start! ****EDIT**** Just gone through the “updates” bit, and apparently there was one around 5 months ago (around April time 2023) but I’ve not had the prompts to update the app at all and when I’ve gone to write this review, there is no indication that the app needs updating, or how to get the update… so not sure what’s happening….

Great app

This is the best bipolar app I’ve tried and I’ve tried many. I think tracking your sleep is almost as important as tracking your mood. I’ll be telling my psychiatrist how useful it is.

Fabulous

I’m a rapid cycles win a normal range of emotions who just started using app recently- app showed me the rhythm of my sleep cycle - unfortunately last night didn’t get ANY sleep at all - which was outside my normal pattern. I’m in a very difficult domestic situation - police out to take statements yesterday- domestic violence by husband. BUT I’m not worried by my bipolar which is as good as it gets. Your program is a lifesaver!!!

Review of Bipolar uk Mood tracker

I’ve had this App for 48hours and although I’m keen to explore it’s potential I really have no idea how to use it. I’m 69 so maybe this accounts for my ineptitude. 🥺

Glitches

Mr Evangelos on

United Kingdom

Glitches where you score your mood and hours slept. I put in my scores and saved them. Then the results on my page were not what I saved. Hopefully these glitches will be fixed.

Great app with a minor glitch

juliermetcalfe on

United Kingdom

Really good app for tracking your mood for someone with bipolar disorder. There is a glitch with the display of your hours sleep on the current day’s dashboard (today I put in 10 hours and it shows 4), but this displays correctly in your trend data.

Good functionalities but not discreet

Cecil_Lia on

United Kingdom

I like this app, it has the functionalities I am looking for but having the massive logo “bipolar Uk” in the home page is highly annoying and embarrassing. I don’t want to advertise the condition. I already know the app name when I open it. I am not a fan of the look, it is not pretty but again the functionalities are there so I am happy.

Really useful but very buggy

scolmsg on

United Kingdom

Bugs throughout the app that make it a bit frustrating to use, ie sometimes data doesn’t save and the navigation is a bit confusing for the graph. But generally helpful and useful

Some improvements

brnvek f on

United Kingdom

There doesn’t seem to be an option to add a frequency for depot medication which would be helpful as a reminder for when my depot is next due. It would also be helpful to add something to help track mixed symptoms/episodes
