Nice easy way to log meals but it may lead to an unhealthy relationship with food

Filipapss on

Portugal

The AI is pretty good at guessing the ingredients, so if you’re looking for a way to log your meals but don’t want to calorie count this is a nice app. The cute raccoon helps gamify the whole process. But be ready to have your meals for the day be considered “average” because you ate a square of chocolate (36/100). Same thing goes for white rice, which the app seems to deem pretty unhealthy. Things like this may be triggering for people who already feel like some types of food are forbidden.

inaccurate information

i went to add a dunkin k cup and they gave me an entire wrong chart of the proper nutrients. they said it had 15 calories when it has 2 calories. they said it had 42% carbs when it has 0, 11% proteins when it has 0, and 47% fats when it has 0.1g… just incredibly inaccurate almost like they literally take a wild guess on what it is

Forgot pic? No meal

I love this app and think it’s awesome using AI instead of having to do a whole bunch of stuff to log it. My only issue is sometimes I forget to take a picture of my food and there’s no option to log it yourself so I keep “missing meals” even though I’m not

Cute but inaccurate

This is such a fun option to count calories and the cute aesthetic makes it reinforcing to use. That being said, there isn’t an option to manually edit any inaccuracies to the calories, so I found it to be very inaccurate

Great in theory, poor in practice.

There’s definitely some room for improvement here, but it seems like a great place to start. It would be really helpful if the app allowed manual entries, I don’t want to have to take photos of what I’m eating 24/7, especially if it’s a packaged product with nutritional info labeled already, or of I didn’t have time to open my phone before eating. I also noticed a lot of discrepancies regarding protein/carb intake because the app doesn’t allow for portion adjustment. All things considered, it isn’t a bad application, especially for beginners, but it certainly isn’t something I consider worth paying for (let alone $4 weekly haha). Without the option of manually entering meals or portion sizes, I think I’ll stick to other apps for meal tracking.

Weirdly works!

I love this, my only thing is I wish I could mark how much eaten after, because if I eat half a slice of cake it’s most definitely not the full slice worth of calories

have to pay

great idea in theory but you have to pay for monthly plan if you want to know your calories, macros, etc.

Horrible

Stay clear of this on

United States

The breakdown of nutritional info on the app is not correct. I asked for a refund within 24 hours and was denied. Beware of this app!!

Hope you Never Forget

Mandmh on

There isn’t a way, even manually that I could find, to add a snack or a meal that you forgot to take a picture of. It’s just not realistic to NEVER forget to take a picture

Cute but unable to help me.

Sadface00000 on

United States

It started out nice, the calorie tracker goes up instead of down which is cool. The animal is cute, and is helpful just a little. But the app does not let you do anything else without paying, not knowing the calories you take in without paying. The app also adds more calories than needed and you can’t fix the calorie part, just put the ingredients in.
