Description
BITS (Belgian Incident Tracking System) is een digitaal registratiesysteem dat gebruikt wordt bij collectieve noodsituaties voor de verzameling, verwerking en verspreiding van gegevens van getroffenen, verwanten en gezochte personen op een beveiligde manier. Het wordt gebruikt door alle hulpverleningsdiensten die worden ingeschakeld binnen Discipline 2 (medische, psychosociale en sanitaire hulpverlening). Het programma is enkel toegankelijk voor geregistreerde gebruikers die een toegang verkregen via de Belgische Federale Overheidsdienst Volksgezondheid, Veiligheid van de voedselketen en Leefmilieu.
