Blackbox – brain puzzles

Think outside the box

Published by: Shapes and Stories

Description

So you think you understand this thing you’re holding? Think again. Stop tapping. Stop swiping. In fact, stop touching the screen at all. To crack Blackbox’s puzzles you’ll need to find solitude and stillness, climb mountains, call on friends, get in tune with the cosmos, and think outside the box.
Minimalistic visual clues make for incredibly satisfying “Aha!” moments, while sonic interfaces provide an extra level of guidance and nuance that makes Blackbox accessible with or without vision. Thoughtful haptic feedback, Easter eggs on Easter eggs, and solutions that can’t be found beneath the glass of your screen redefine what a puzzle can be. You’ll never see your device the same way again.
Think you’re clever? Prove it.
(Blackbox is a living game under active development by Ryan McLeod. When not eating burritos or drinking coffee, he’s busy designing and developing new Blackbox challenges.)

Stockholm syndrome in game form.

I hated it here but also quite liked being challenged, frustrated and bullied to oblivion to think outside the box. It’s The Saw of mind phone games. This love-hate relationship was very interesting to navigate.

Love the challenge

Half of it’s amazing

I say that because the other half of the game needs to be payed for. I’ve watched the videos on YouTube of how to complete the challenges and the ones that cost money look really fun and it might just be me who doesn’t want to pay but I feel like there should be more that are free.

There are reviews that rate this game under 5 stars. I play on an iPad 8th generation and I have no issues sooo… I think those peeps might need some checking up on. Best game, no bugs, no ads, just pure bliss and brain cell destroying challenges.
