Can’t get past adding my city , so I guess I will delete it
Once I get to the location, I will input it and nothing happens. I tried several cities, and even hit the magnifying glass. Nothing.
Came across this app disappointing because it seems like there is no checks and balances to first and foremost to Make sure the businesses are black owned, and operated and it seems like there is no research into black owned businesses that are not food I think a little more care and incentive The app can be great but there are still work to be done I think there should be some kind of process to certify The businesses are black owned and operated at least every six months to maintain integrity.
Title says it all👆
There’s some kind of sabotage going on because I saw your spot on my local news and I downloaded the app. I’ve attempted to create a profile for 2 days now and I keep getting an error message stating the app cannot “save up my profile”. Smh the devil is always busy but God wins every time!!
Easy to find black owned businesses. Used it in 9 cities already. Love BLAPP!!!
I think this is a great idea… but I live in a small town and know a ton of local business owners. A LOT of white owned businesses are featured on this app in my area.
I use this to find black on clothing brands and it is spot on. Keep up the good work.
Login process was pretty clumsy. Left the app, process restarted, wouldn’t send me a new verification code for a while. Also, why log in? I just want to support black businesses, why do I need a profile?
The initial list that appears when I open the app shows black-owned restaurants across Chicago. But I was disappointed to discover that as soon as I select a category it just shows me all nearby businesses of that type, most or all of which are white-owned. Within certain categories there are a few businesses I know to be black-owned, but there is no way to distinguish those from the others within the app. I wish the best to the developers of this app and hope it evolves to match its intended purpose.
