How much does BlazePod cost?
BlazePod has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is £61.39.
Furious. Bought pods. Bought mounts for pods. Expensive. But it’s fine. One of purchase. They’re good pieces of kit. Robust. Will last a long time.
Having bought the hardware and the software being free it seemed worth while… until they decided the software was no longer free and they want £100 a year for a service that was originally included. I can no longer set my £450 pods up to light up and respond to my custom practice. I can only use a bundle of presets that BlazePod graciously enables me to use.
Disgraceful business practice and couldn’t recommend any less. If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst £400 you could spend. Avoid avoid avoid.
You’re cheapening the app
This used to be a serious app for athletes and now with these updates and the ridiculous performances people are uploading has tainted the app. Put it back to a serious app or I’ll happily cancel my subscription!
We can’t use it
It seems a floored concept, a great idea but we can’t use it. You have to subscribe to an app for however much every month and it’s just my son who uses it so it’s not justifiable.
I wish we could use it but it now just gathers dust. Crazy really.
Still needs more
The training routines are good but membership and team management for coaches is very disappointing and poor considering product pricing and membership add on.
It’s great, but could be better
It’s a great app but it could be better with the introduction of heart rate monitoring and a few other little tweaks
Brilliant
Best app and game/activity around
Focus
Great way to spice up a workout and stop you getting to slow as you age 🤩
Early BlazePod Adopter with 10 units
To start this review I want to say I love ❤️ the BlazePods and the App to run them. I bought a set of 6 to start and then bought another 4 so that me and my wife can compete simultaneously. Love the versatility too as we have setup multiple routines for different muscles groups. Plus training with the pods are fun and motivational. So it was all good and I was their biggest advocate and should be on commission really.
So awesome, until they introduced a subscription model over a year later, which has locked all my routines from modification and also preventing me from adding new routines! As earlier adopters and advocate it’s simply no fair to change what it was I originally signed up to. Of course if this was in place at the beginning then I could decide if they are right for me as a home user. As it currently stands I’ve been conned.
This is no way to treat your local clients!
Not great
Pods won’t connect too much stuff going on need to make sure the basics work rather than fancy Home Screen
My pods
Absolutely brilliant, I love my pods use them everyday, is there any chance a white light could be added to the 8 colours
