This app is so brutal. So hard to connect, always looses connection and then just resets anytime you open the app. Why is there no setting that saves the theme and brightness. Everytime I put my kids to bed I need to go on an reset the brightness to the lowest option. Would not recommend this lamp as you can’t use it without this app.

I bought my galaxy light last year and used Blisshome to operate the light features. But at some point the app became increasingly useless, as it disconnects from the device and/or the app just does not function properly. I have tried to troubleshoot multiple times but it seems the devs are not updating this app.

Problems with Google home. It turns on the light but can’t turn it off. Weird problem. It use to work well. There is nothing I haven’t tried to make it work again but with no success.

The app is hard to understand.

It feels like the app is trying to run everything off of the light, and the light struggles to connect to wifi. Trying to turn off the light or laser results in no change, and the toggle going back and forth a few times. A Bluetooth only method of controlling new lights or a better wifi chip/antenna in the lights should also be investigated by the development team. So far the only way I’ve had a somewhat reliable connection to the light is if the light is under 5 feet from the router.

new update doesn’t allow me to pick my own colour and says my “device is not on” when it is, and doesn’t allow me to turn it off without unplugging it. How do I fix this? It already had problems previously, I would not recommend buying their products.

Lights frequently will turn on by themselves

The app and product is great. I use it every night. I use multiple features and am almost completely happy. The only problems are that there isn’t a dark mode, and when you set a schedule- you can’t choose which theme to set with the schedule. I have a lighter/brighter theme I use for when my toddler goes to bed. Then I have a darker theme when I’m getting ready for bed, and a very dark theme for late night. I have to open the app to change the theme every time (which is a very mild inconvenience) but then you get BLASTED with a white background. It’s a feature you use primarily at night. So it should have a dark mode! You also can’t have them alternating between different colours like a rainbow, which is unfortunate. But I definitely recommend the products and app. Both work well.

I constantly have to forget device and re-add my galaxy lamp to the app. Very frustrating, and annoying.

App is REQUIRING too many details like wifi passwords, camera and location. Just use Bluetooth
