No longer works
When it works, it’s wonderful. I depended on this app to read the magazines as I do not get physical issues. It no longer works and contact with customer service hasn’t offered solutions. I am so disappointed.
Bad app
The app has not worked for MONTHS. Why change things when it was working. I can't view Block magazines that I purchased and was promised
Doesn’t work
Very disappointed since this app no longer works. I used to love this app because I could complete the projects in the book. Now the app doesn’t work and it is frustrating. It used to be so good!
Unhappy
I have the BLOCK and am regularly unable to access my magazine. I have to phone and wait for someone to send me a link to read. Currently I have had my subscription debited and am not able to access any of the editions! Would really appreciate some assistance so I can read my issues at anytime convenient to me, PLEASE
Slow magazine load rate.
I receive my in paper issue and have to wait weeks for the app issue to load. This makes no sense to me, the app should be instant in my view. Takes as long or longer on the website as well ….why ?
Bright colors and nice projects but the directions need work
In every issue I find the directions for the more complex projects are repeated. First with pictures and then again with drawings. One set looks like an overview of the pieces and the other goes into more step by step detail, but i always need to figure that out as they aren't labeled as such. Sometimes it's hard to know if I'm supposed to do all those steps again or if it really is greater detail of a previous step. Then in the details steps there is usually something missing or the pictures aren't labeled to match up to the written directions. Go with one or the other, and i would suggest full detail and drawings as they are more explicit and can have things like stitching lines easily shown.
It’s good BUT
Volume 5 Issue 6 will not open in the app for me I have repeatedly deleted, then reinstalled the app, but that particular issue will not open. please fix. Additionally, none of the issues give you a preview photo of the contents. I’ve rarely bought a magazine without flipping through to see if the contents pique my interest. Consequently I almost never buy Block because there’s nothing you can actually see to pique my interest and the few times I’ve just gone ahead and purchased blindly I’ve regretted it.
Impressive
I look forward to getting this publication each month. So full of beautiful quilts and patterns that are explained very thoroughly! The photography is excellent- it makes you want to try sewing each quilt. The best part is the price is low and yet it’s not full of ads. The articles are always interesting and I read the magazine cover to cover .It’s like a new quilt book each time I receive it. Thank you for publishing it!
