It’s a 6 year old app, no wonder it doesn’t work. Time to find something else.

While I do like this blocker in general, the problem I’ve had with it is due to the difficulty in shutting it off as it requires drilling down into settings to do so. If it had an easy switch instead I’d give it all 5 stars but I also can’t figure out how to access the whitelist itself either. There is a way to whitelist sites but when I tried to use it, the wrong URL popped up with NO way to edit it. That’s not very useful but was a great idea to have one. The app needs a little work and I hope they think about fixing these issues.

This app is bear-y good

This app hasn’t been updated in 5 years, and before iOS 17, it still worked great. However, it appears that it’s time has finally come and unless they come back to update the app and it’s Adblock capabilities, I’d recommend sticking with something else. I’m giving it 3 stars because I’ve been quite satisfied over the years, and it still kinda works sometimes, but unreliably so, and no longer blocks youtube ads altogether, which is definitely one of the most annoying recent changes.

Enough said!!! Blocks some news sites but well worth getting rid of sketch ads I have no interest whatsoever of going to. Especially when they want you to buy via their app. Like that is safe.

I like it, it gets the job done even if it’s not how I intend to use it but I haven’t had my data taken and it stops me from going on unsafe web sites when I’m looking for some thing 11/10 would recommend

I have been using this app for a couple years and it’s been great but lately it no longer blocks clickbait in other apps or emails and I have no clue why. I switched iphone from 12 to 15 recently and re installed BlockBear and it doesn’t work as before with all settings the same.
