Unusually high hardware requirements for a simple game. Had crashing issues and ran hot with my iPhone 12 but no issues on my iPad Mini 7 which has double the ram. It’s a gacha specifically designed for the mobile experience so it’s easy to pick up and spend a few minutes on which is why I’m fine with the simple gameplay. The characters and story are great. I’d like to spend in the game to support the developers, but nothing in the store seems to interest. Because I’m a casual player I don’t feel the need to roll meta students for pvp or endgame modes. I’m also not in a rush to collect every character as Junko is wife. Basically there are hardly situations where I’m needing things like pyro, equipment etc. asap so I don’t spend. I will start off by saying that I absolutely am a massive fan of BlueArchive! I really love all the characters (Ibuki is the best) and I think the story’s are good. I only really have 2 major gripes with this game, one is the gacha aspect. I understand that this game at the end of the day is a gacha game, (but most of the time I forget it is because I unlocked the characters I “needed”). But man the gacha aspect can be so depressing sometimes. If there is a character you really want or a special edition of a character you want, the gacha is really the way you’ll get them. But it feels completely unfair, like getting 10 rolls 7 times and still not unlocking even a legendary. I know, that’s gacha, but it could at least be a little easier to unlock a character you want. You need to save up so many of the in game currency to guarantee you can even win the gacha. If there were other ways to unlock these characters and special editions that weren’t spend all your currency to get nothing in return, even if it took a long time, would be better. The other thing which is absolutely awful and angers me is how many times I go to open the app and it just says it failed to download and closed the app. I have freed up space, closed apps to reduce memory usage, and still does this. This issue causes me to not even play the game some days because for the whole day I can’t even open the app. Some viable way of preventing this needs to be added or addressed to the player. Other then these two issues, I am a huge BlueArchive fan! I really have a connection with all these characters. They are funny, cute, and all have their moments which make you smile. Too complicated and the ui gets messy; too simple and players leave the game.
