Blue Note Music Flash Cards Reviews
Not suitable for children
Thought this would help my child who has had a year of lessons, but this is not a good app for that. It does not mirror the way beginners learn, the first note you are presented with is a high D. The app is also very boring, no colours, images or encouragement of any kind. Suggest it’s better for keen adults.
Great app
Great app for learning musical notes. I use it for 10 minutes or so every day and my music reading is improving all the time. Its actually fun while learning. Small comment-app plays note when I get it right, but why not when I get it wrong?
Great app, just what I was looking for!
I've been searching for an app such as this for a while, rather than having to use printed cards.
It's a great app, does exactly what I need it to do. The only thing that would improve it for me is when I get a note/symbol wrong rather than immediately going on to the next one, either a pause or being able to move it on myself so I can see what I've got wrong and learn from it.
No more printed cards on my morning train journey! :)
Great basic app but please make it more fun for children!
This app was exactly what I was looking for - flash cards to help my child recognise notes and learn their names but not linked to a keyboard. However I doubt it will hold her attention for long; it would be better with some congratulatory sound effects for right answers and fun "wrong" sounds and it might benefit from stopping after 10 questions and giving a score out of 10.
Note !
It would be fantastic if you heard the note you correctly identified, this app.was not what I expected. However it's well presented.
Excellent for beginners
I knew a little, having played guitar for a while. This has really improved my note and symbol recognition. Suitable for young children too.
Needs guitar
Would be a killer app with a guitar note section like the keyboard more section. I’ve already learned how to understand sheet music through the app alone In like 30 min. As a guitarist I really need something that can help me pick random keys on the fretboard.
Excellent app, but…
This is a very simple and basic app, with just flashcards. This is perfect for a beginner of any age, learning how to read music. It’s also good for review for anyone who is advanced as well. It’s fun to see how fast I can name the notes. However, I really don’t like how all the notes are in blue. Will you please add an option to change the notes to black instead of blue? I have perfect pitch and synesthesia, and that means, when I see a blue note, I see and hear the note E. That’s incredibly annoying! My type of synesthesia gives colors to notes. So, it’s incredibly distracting and annoying to see blue on every single note. Will you please add the option to change the notes to black instead? The app will be much more fun when I can change the notes to be black. Please add key signature flashcards. Thanks for reading my review!
When I can change the notes from blue to black, I will give this app five stars. 😀
Correct notes for a piano!
App is good and correct and does include some ledget notes! „superduperu“ is not correct but maybe has different instrument but review reads like a troll, so ignore that review please. Sorry, I can not tell you how hogh or low it goes, but I assume it goes to Ledger note C or maybe Emin treble cleff and probably down to ledger note E or maybe C in bass clef at least. (C3 and c3? I have forgotten how to write this. Sorry!)
Wrong notes
Wrong notes! Bass clef and treble clef! Obviously the person who created this app doesn’t know the notes himself. Wasted my money! Can I get my money back?
