No TTS or Read Aloud support
I bought this trying to get my libby DRM ebooks to be read as an audiobook. Read aloud will stop at the end of the page (vs kindle app where it turns to the next page) and the app doesn’t natively provide any TTS

Nice UI, plenty of configurable options, and it’s compatible with Adobe’s DRM (the one that most libraries use). The big issue with this one is there’s no standard font size, so one book might open with fonts at 4pt and the next might be at 20pt. I ruins the app. I haven’t seen this issue on other ebook apps. The buttons to make the font larger or smaller are both relative and global, so there’s no way (that I’ve found) to have the app display books according to pre-set preferences. Another issue, which is common with ebook apps, is that is displays hyperlinked text in dark blue, which makes it hard to read in dark mode. It should have a option to format hyperlinked text normally, or with a user-set format. Importantly, it works on older iOS devices. Lastly I think the page slide animation is harsh compared to competing apps. I think this could use some attention. Despite those complaints this is my epub reader of choice.
Can't scroll vertically
Worst reader ever used
I use blue fire reader on my iPhone and it would be great if there were a better link to its use in macOS so that information such as title, author, and publisher, could be shared between the two apps synchronously.
I enjoy using this app as the one thing that I like is the font is a good size
I absolutely love this ap and it was soo easy to use and download I wish I had found it before
Sadly still doesn’t work with epub3 fixed layout books.
I've been using Bluefire for ages, and it's been handy enough. I'd used it as an alternative to iBooks for a smaller set of books which I kept there. But now they've gone and updated it so that all those books are gone - and it’s no longer possible to use Bluefire on any iPas running earlier iOS than 13, which most of the ones my family uses can't use it. Normally when a app is updated the older version is still available. Goodby Bluefire. And I know this review won't be on the site.
I used to love this app for reading library books on my phone, but since upgrading my phone I’ve been completely unable to get it to work with DRM protected books, despite being logged in to my library-associated Adobe ID both on the PC I’m transferring from and my new phone. No error message, the books just won’t show up at all in the app, even though they appear in the file list in iTunes. I’m not sure if it’s an updated version of the app and I’d been using an older one on my previous phone, but I’ve tried everything I can think of and nothing has worked. Gutted.
