Bluon HVAC

I downloaded the app and went through the process of becoming accredited using the app. After watching the videos and answering the questions, I get to the accreditation menu.When I get to the call button to receive the code, my network operator says the number I have failed does not exist ‭18667777174‬. I live in so South Africa, am I correct to assume then this app is US only?

Bluon started out and raved about how it was a free service by techs for techs. Flash forward to a year or two ago and its full of ads (Annoying but also understandable). Flash forward to now and its no longer free to use more than 3 times a month. If your like most techs and rarely need it for diagrams just use google and delete the app

Wow I used to use this app to look stuff up. Now some useless video pops up with volume and I can’t get away from it. Deleting the app. Save the headache look into other options like the Copeland app

They are making changes and it seems to be in the wrong direction in my opinion.

It really is a shame. I was such a huge fan of Bluon ever since it came out I can’t tell you how many countless times it has helped me diagnose issues order parts and just overall make my workload that much easier. As much as I was upset when they took away calling tech-support and having to earn points I understood it because they gotta make money too and being that I was using the app already to sorce parts from my local distributors I had no worries with this. But this latest membership thing they want us to get and limiting the searches we can do, I just can’t do it anymore. It’s unfortunate, I thought the HVAC field finally at something for the technicians for us.

I’ve used the app for years and have been very happy. Today I went and opened it up and got told you now have to pay to look up more than 3 manuals a month. That will be the last time I use it.

Asked for money got deleted

Bluon has been amazing for techs. But now it’s not about the boots on the ground. I work for a worldwide company but I’m only an mobile hvac tech. I wouldn’t even know who to reach out to and that information isn’t just readily available for what Bluon is trying to promote here. So it’s back to the old way of calling my suppliers with a model and serial #. It was good while it lasted

This app was fantastic then they started charging. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves

Seriously loved this resource when it first came out, was great for finding manuals (couldn’t use parts order as no one in my area was a part of the network) but your limiting us to 3 models per month is seriously infuriating!
