Spineless

I received the usual good quality photo book I'd expect from Blurb, but if you want your book to have a title on its spine, do not use this app. Come on Blurb, fix this obvious lack.

What a easy app

Wow, what a great app! My sons best friend is leaving to go to a different school and I really wanted to make something memorable. Put the thought of having loads of photos and putting them in order and creating a book was quite daunting Gladstone at that time, but this app to all together for me and it’s great!

Payment dispute

Tried to order my book and payment kept saying it would go through. Now x 3 payments going through for 1 book. Not very happy.

Very difficult to negotiate and poor quality pics in book

I have used blurb in the past and been very happy with their books and photo app. However I have recently tried to make a book and the only two books it allowed me to chose from were very basic books. I made a photo book and had not realised when I ordered it that it was about 4” x 4” a complete waste of time. I ordered 2 and with postage it was £46 what a rip off. I will not be using them again in a hurry and I suggest that you use one of the other great apps that are around. To be fair they did respond and said the app I was on was to allow you to do small easy books. It’s didn’t explain that on the app so just beware what you have downloaded. You need to download BookWright to get the full choice.

Killed me on delivery

Nowhere near as good as PC version

Unfortunately I will have to hope that my laptop survives another year because this app is poor my comparison. Limited book size and editing options really very, very basic. I create a book every year and was hoping that I would be able to do that on my iPad but this is nothing like the full PC version so I will continue editing images on iPad, uploading to Dropbox, downloading to PC and then working from there until the laptop finally stops booting up. Then I will probably have to buy a new laptop just to make the books. Gave 1 star as you cannot give zero.

Zero Help

I’ve been chasing my photo book for 5 weeks now as the courier has lost it. Blurb refunded postage and that’s it, so I’ve still paid for something that never materialised. They are doing nothing to fix it. Don’t bother.

No upload

Took hours to upload my photos and create book. Placed my order and took my money only to them receive email saying some photos didn’t upload. When try to download again says no internet connection. Tried to contact them but no reply. Will go to credit card company to refund money.

Do not waste your time or money

Ordered a book 4 weeks ago for a one week delivery and still have not received it. No one to speak to or get in touch with. Absolute joke of a service or lack of. Try another avenue, this one does not work.

Very limited

Blurb on my PC is amazing and so flexible. The app however is really basic and doesn’t even allow me to choose different photo layouts or books sizes. Such a shame - I would use it more if it did.
