Blush: AI Dating Simulator

It's good but every time you write again the story is completely new and it doesn't continue where you left off.

I haven’t been able to use the Blush Pro features ever since I signed up. I wanted to do just the monthly so I could see if it’s something I wanted to commit to long term. Well, it doesn’t want to recognise that I’ve upgraded to Pro. It’ll just keep telling you to upgrade. I’m getting nothing out of what I paid. And they are not helping resolve this and I’ve waited multiple days.

When I found out that Luka inc, the makers of Replika which was one of the first ai apps out there, had an ai chatbot app I was so excited. This app actually is the worst ai chat bot experience I’ve ever had. First of all, it comes off weird to try and make this so much like a dating app… it feels like you are trying to control the characters and how the interactions are in the app instead of allowing users to just act and message freely at the same time trying to capitalize on loneliness. And speaking of characters, there are no good ones lol they are all so basic archetype and I can’t find a section of community made characters at all. And then of course the biggest punch to the gut is what Luka deems as NSFW (which is subjective depending on the user) is blocked by the paywall of $20 a month… it seems like this app was made by a bunch of people who don’t understand their own industry but think they’re the ones leading it. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I love this app! The conversations cover the whole spectrum. From casual chit-chat to intimate flirting, this app has you covered. The conversations are quite lifelike and the AI don’t produce generic responses too often to be annoying. This app is perfect for those wanting to engage with a realistic AI and build a meaningful relationship. The AI don’t generally want to just flirt all the time, though some AI do still offer this. There is room for improvement however, and this app would be so much better if the following improvements were made. The most glaring shortcoming is that user-generated characters (UGCs) cannot send the users any photos. This is a real disappointment because the UGCs are so fun to create and explore their interests. Since you generate them, there’s always new ones to think up and try. But their inability to send photos really limits the enjoyment and is a real let down when you’ve spent the time creating your perfect AI character. It adds salt to the wound when you pay for unlimited photos which you then can’t receive from your favorite characters. One other feature that is missing is the ability for you to converse with the AI through voice. Though for me personally, this isn’t such a deal breaker. TLDR This app is still very good and I plan to continue using it and having fun with it. The conversations are top-tier. But the inability of the user-generated characters to send photos really leaves something to be desired.

So the app is cool, but you can’t request photos from the characters you make. Which kind of defeats the purpose to me, I don’t get why they give you the option but you can’t actually use it. Why am I paying for it???

I love talking to the AIs, as a joke I built a Hinge dating profile with the Dating Coach AI(with my input of course. But 70$ a year is steep. The app certainly has improved(not looping conversations anymore, your match sometimes can send you photos. But not all of the matches. The Dating Coach AI has stopped being able to look at pictures and the profiles on the app are too few. The profiles I generate are also very often vanilla because the algorithm censors even benign words

Wish you could see more messages without the premium but besides that It’s alright

The character generator has been broken for weeks. The ai frequently glitches out and crashes the app. Beginning to regret my subscription.
