Such Potential!

Love so many aspects of this app. I have lead my book club in using it for four years. Still so darn glitchy and inconsistent!

Has potential

This app has some great features, including the ability for each group member to be able to add their choice options for the next month’s book and the “like” button to allow the group to vote individually and anonymously. It is also convenient that when you set up the meeting time, you can opt for it to send your group members reminder emails, which is helpful considering everyone has other things going on. I really wish there was a way to allow for a moderator or someone to oversee/manage it though, as I am the one in my group who sets it up every month. It is annoying that I have to tell the people in my group to go back and delete last months picks, and other things like that. It is also very glitchy, which can be quite frustrating at times. If they would fix these things the app would be much better.

Long overdue for an update

It seems like the app is long over due for an update. You can’t delete books off potential selections or club selection list. It’s also not letting me add any books to my personal bookshelf or queue. The app lags and you have to try to do the same action several times for it to maybe work.

Edit member list

The biggest problem our book club has is we can’t edit the members in the book club. People come and go and we just keep adding on. The old members still are listed. Can they be fixed?

Makes staying organized so much easier

Love this app. It is great for setting up meetings, book selections, and has an amazing number of book giveaways.

Password errors

Trying to create a new account and won’t accept any passwords no matter how long or characters. This is really frustrating!

Love this app

This app is wonderful! It helps me manage our book club easily. I use it to schedule our meetings and it sends out invites and reminders and members can rsvp via the app. I also love having a record of all the books we have read.

Best tool to organize book club!

I Donny know how we lived without this app! My book club has met every 6 weeks for the last 15 years and organizing book club meetings became much easier when we found this app! Automated email, keeping track of our past books and love the Discover feature to find new reads. Thank you for this tool!

I have been using Book Movement for years so was excited to see there was an App! I like using it to keep track of my book club’s activities. Also the giveaways are amazing!

Very Helpful

This book club app has been very helpful in organizing our Bookclubs. I have three Bookclubs using it. It is so nice that it automatically generates emails announcing the next Bookclub date and choice of book and sends reminders. It has saved me a lot of time answering the same questions over and over, “what is our book next month? When is our next Bookclub? ” 🙄 What is even more invaluable in my opinion are the emails we get from Pauline with giveaways, new book suggestions and opportunities to zoom with authors! This is the best feature!! I also love the reading guides, the suggestions for Bookclub questions and sometimes even menus and drink ideas! Plus, Pauline, the founder, is always available to email and is very responsive.
