How much does Book Tracker cost?
Book Tracker has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is €12.82.
Update: Great app, as I’ve said before. BUT- It’s sort of annoying that the yearly challenge subtract books we’ve read and removed. Sometimes I don’t like a book, so I unhaul it, and then its entire history is deleted, including itself from my reading goal. Please find a fix!
This app has the essentials down to a T. It has a really nice interface that is in line with iOS, and not only that, but it doesn’t require an expensive subscription, only a small purchase to keep for lifetime. They make finding books and adding them to the digital library so easy, the stats are really nice, and the widgets incredibly useful! My only criticism is that we’re not allowed to move around ourselves as we’d like. Don’t get me wrong, there’s many options, but I’d love to be able to just drag and drop books where I need. Thank you so much for this app, you have done a fantastic job!💙
Paywall warning
I started using this app, now I have to pay $16? I only read ten books a year! Are you kidding? Delete.
Don’t bother
If you are getting this app just to keep a list of books you’ve read, you can’t. After adding 5 books, it forces you to buy the pro version for 15.99. Really? That much money just to hold a list of books? I can already do it for free myself in a notepad on my phone. Why would I pay 16 bucks for that.
Happy happy
So very happy with this App. I can keep all of my books in one place . Thank you
This is the best Book Tracking App
This app has helped me gain momentum in reaching my reading goals. The problem with other apps that offer the same experience is how cluttered they are. When I transitioned to this app (I've tried 3 or 4 others prior) I was so thrilled by the sleek design, ease of adding books, and how they present the information.
One thing that I found was missing in the other apps I've tried was the ability to mark when you've re-read a book. Surprisingly this is missing on most other apps. When I saw I could add another reading session and keep the progress of the old one I was thrilled. Other apps would have just deleted it as if we only ever read a book once.
It almost feels like Apple themselves created the app; the UI matches other stock Apple apps. If you like this then you need to go ahead and make the switch.
My physical bookshelf is full of books to read and this app has given me an edge up on progressing through them. There is a nicely designed "Currently Reading" section with percentage wheels that give an extra dopamine rush when finishing a session.
Things I would love to see added down the road:
- A widget that displays a few of your "Currently Reading" books with the percentage. As of now, unless I've missed it, the widget only displays one.
- Customizable UI. Changing colors on charts and the ability to rearrange the home screen a little more. Like if I wanted Authors list above my Series list.
LOVE
i love how simple the design is, yet efficient. I’ve been using this tracker for a couple months now, and have nothing negative to say. Yes, I did pay the 15 dollars for the full package, and no I do not regret it in the slightest bit. It’s easy to use, but still has many functions worth mentioning, including how you can quote while reading in the app, a normal time tracker, and much more. I think it’s more than worth the 15 dollars 🩷
It isn’t worth it
The app keeps making try and buy the add on
Edit history
Scanning in my library after just purchasing the pro version and having difficulty finding a way to edit WHEN I read these books. So far Ive entered 19 of my hundreds of books and my stats are saying I read all 19 in July 2024. If there is not a feature to edit dates read, there should be. If there is, it needs to be easier to find. Also, haven’t dug into it yet, but a way to mark a book as read multiple times for stat purposes would also be nice.
Can only add 5 books unless you buy premium
I got this because I would enjoy to be able to track my reads, and because I read on kindle I can do it almost immediately! My only problem is that you can only add 5 books before you HAVE to buy the premium version. I have read other reviews/responses, so I understand you are a single developer, so I understand if you don’t see this, but if you could add the ability to add more books, that would be amazing! You could prob move features from free to premium, such as the ability to make/add books to series or being able to put how far into the book you are so that we can have a few more books! If not, that’s fine too, would just be helpful!
Love this
I love this app my only request would be I should be able to select all and mark as read. As well as it being easier to find books in a series as when I use certain ISBN for certain manga is it gives me a title without the vol number and sometimes I get way too many options
Along with a option to write things for characters
