Good
The biggest issue was that the screen doesn’t fit on the iPhone 15. Every time you use an item you’re swiped out of the game.Incredibly frustrating.

Enjoyed this game more after second time playing. The concept is obviously influenced by other works, particularly Cornelia Funke’s Ink Spell book series and the Nevertales game series. Nothing wrong with taking inspiration and they do add some nice flourishes. All together a solid title. Hope to see more.
Loved the book based game. There are still a few glitchy bits but so far they haven’t halted the game. Looking forward to the next volume.
Liked this one. Kept my interest throughout. Game play, collectibles and puzzles great. Thank you.
This is an enjoyable game. The only trouble I encountered was with the puzzles, like the tea. The mechanics were not smooth and I was unable to get the recipe correct. When I was going for the spoonful of water it kept picking up a second spoonful of tea leaves. I had to skip that puzzle. The placement of the garden tools in the grid was made more difficult by the glitches in placing the tools. They had to be placed exactly in correct position or they snapped back off the grid. A little fine tuning will make this much more enjoyable. Thanks for an interesting story.
Sorry to say a lot of these mysteries adventure games are 15 to 20 years old and they keep patching them up to keep them running so idiots like me keep paying 7.99 for a outdated game! Almost every mini game wouldn’t work on my iPhone 14! They almost all crashed, I would have to go out in and out of the game to grab anything out of the inventory or make a puzzle work. I had to hop or skip through most of the puzzles! I would stay away from any of these old games there a ripoff! When are they going to get creative and start writing new games and storylines! Very Frustrated!!!!
Even if you aren’t familiar with the classics, I guarantee that you will enjoy this innovative adventure. As the protagonist, you are a librarian who enters the portals of the classics and meets and aids the characters along the way. The gameplay was addictive and exciting, the graphics were beautiful, and there were many ingenious tasks o be accomplished. We were treated to an interesting variety of HO scenes and mini-games; there was a puzzle for every gamer. For those of you who love codes, you will have quite a few of them. Collectibles included morphing classic novels as well as puzzle pieces. The storyline was refreshing and unusual. I agree with other gamers who were a bit disappointed by the length, but one thing to remember is that when you are totally immersed in a great game, time flies much quicker! If I wanted to nitpick, I would deduct a star for length, but the game was so terrific that I couldn’t do so. I would love to see more games in this series. Thanks for an amazing experience, Elephant. Please bring out a sequel really soon!
Surprised at the good reviews here. Feel like I wasted $7. The graphics felt really dated. Like a game from five years ago. Which is surprising b/c Elephant usually looks way better. Game play was way too short, and the story was awful. Not good.
I have the code but the dials won’t dial to allow me to enter them. I’m in the library attempting to get the “B” letter. Not sure if I’m doing summit wrong or whAt. Watched a walkthrough. It’s not a dial it just push button. Hope this helps others. In my defense the dang thing acts like it should dial. But no matter. Sorry for the mix up. Good game.
This was the best game I have played in a long, long while! More like this please!
