Wonderful for learning and great stories
We’ve found the Dutch stories very helpful for both children and adults. Th stories are charming, the language is up to date, the grammar is correct and the pronunciation is clear. Thank you BookBox for making these wonderful stories available!
Great app! Just needs more books plz.
PROS: All stories are nice and short with BIG subtitles in French so it’s not overwhelming. I like the option of turning on English subtitles to help understand the French ones. I’m 35 yrs old and this app really helps me learn vocabulary and accents etc CONS: Needs more books. There are only a few. In particular I would like more options for Level 1. Maybe nursery rhymes would be good since they’re slower and the repetition would help pick up vocabulary. OR just slower talking in books for those who struggle to both read the French subtitles while trying to simultaneously pick up visual cues from the animation.

I am utilizing this app in trying to improve my Portuguese overall, and I just wish to thank the entire team in putting their effort in making this. I just hope there to be more stories, especially in portuguese. Muito obrigado, minha historia favorita é da Tartaruga.

Bilingual Subtitles Please!
Great app. I’m an adult beginner and love using stories, however childish or profound, to learn. I appreciate the different levels assigned to each video and have benefited greatly from the audio transcripts and variety of narrators. So far, the only improvement I would make is the addition of an option to have subtitles in two languages. This is an option on a few YouTube videos, but I haven’t seen it on the app. With this adjustment, I’d give it 4 stars.
