I love this app and it’s so much more affordable than buying the book scanner I have seen so many videos about on TikTok, the only dislike is that I didn’t know I had to pay 5 bucks to scan more than 50 books but I most likely just didn’t read the fine print, and even if they didn’t advertise that you have to pay, still worth it

I have complained about this for years and it continues to happen. I am meticulous with my books. Added the correct cover. Record the box. Add isbn numbers etc and over and over books I have added are just erased. I have over 1500 books but this app is worthless, the response from customer service does nothing… it seems like each update removes data. Looking elsewhere and starting over
I don’t ever leave reviews for apps, but this app is so good I had to let everyone know. The interface is simple and straight to the point, which I love. It has so many options for tracking and categorizing your books, which is so important. You can track where you purchased books, the date purchased, where the book is physically located, and whether you’ve loaned it out and to who. There’s so many more options too that I can’t include it all. There’s also options to track books you want to own with the wish list feature and books you’ve borrowed from other people, which I find SO helpful. I would recommend this app to absolutely everyone who owns books and wants to track them.
Easy to use would have been a 5 star but after so many books you have to pay! I was so disappointed. I thought I had found my new favorite app.
I am new to iphones coming from Android. My videogame manager android app is not on iOS. Couldn't find a good game catalog manager. I found bookbuddy and actually use it to manage my videogame library. I use tricks based on the custom fields in book buddy and it works for me! Would give 10 stars if I could!
I downloaded “LibraryThing” years ago and loved that I could scan my books into the app. But it wasn’t really any fun. Dumb, I know. But this BookBuddy app is everything I want in a library app. I really just want to keep track of my personal library. And now I get all the bellls and whistles to go with it! Love it. Will definitely recommend.
Great way to keep track of your books. Which had been read, ratings, and totals. Scanning feature works great! I have over 2,000 books logged and have not had any trouble.
The best usable and customizable library software I have used. I have about 8000 books and over 5500 in the library. Thank you for awesome software. I have only 1 issue with it and can easily work around it. Have showed your software to many people in bookstores and will continue to show to people that have their own libraries
I found myself one day adding a book to my “to be read” shelf that looked exactly like another in the pile. After some quick looking, I realized I had ordered the same book 3 times! Because of that situation I began using this app which has helped me not only avoid purchasing duplicates, but also rating my books and even putting some notes on my general thoughts of the books I’ve completed. As a scholar, I have too many books (if that’s possible) and Book Buudy helps me keep things organized!
