BookPlayer has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is £8.99.
I have absolutely no complaints, there’s no catch like a subscription or ads or in-app purchases, it has basically just about everything.
It supports multiple audio formats, I’m assuming depending on the source of the audiobook you have, it’ll automatically set the cover and the chapters and name, and it’s customizable.
You can also import a zip folder if there’s a particularly long series of audiobooks, like Mushoku Tensei I’m listening to.
You can change the speed, there’s a light and dark mode, the UI is clean, AirPlay is supported, this app is just good.

Good little player
I like this app. I got it to replace a player no longer available on the App Store. It could bookmark M4B format, but I had to do that manually.
This one chapterises automatically and in the right places, which is fantastic!
The one issue is when I press play/stop on my earphones, it will play the audio, but it won’t stop when I tap them to stop playback.

I have downloaded mp3 audiobooks and wasn’t sure how to play them with adjusting speed and figuring out chapters on my phone. Then I found this app! The chapters of the book were automatically there after uploading the mp3 files! I tried another app and it did not have that. You can adjust rewind and forward speeds, upload book art. I am so impressed. Free with no ads! Thank you!!
