Boostcamp Reviews

Good

tone999 on

United States

I think the app is great for people who want their workouts already laid out for them. Plenty of different programs to choose from. Although I am a little upset they took out all the cardio programs. There is very little instruction for beginners on proper form. There is a little demonstration but just from that, If I didn’t heavy somebody with experience working with me my form would be bad and I wouldn’t know any better from using the app.

Literally does not work

Trillbilly McCunnilingus on

I click the app to open and it’s just blank. 1 star

No Apple Watch support?

TheReview-Nerd on

United States

The app itself is amazing however I’m giving 2 stars because of the lack of Apple Watch support, I get a notification timer but it lacks the ability to add inputs like weight selection and auto move to next set.. When (or if ) it comes soon I’ll definitely update my review to higher rating.

Best

Bummy G on

This is the best workout app that I’ve ever used and I’ve used a lot. Thank you Boostcamp!

Solid app now bloated

u/Disappointed on

United States

Remember downloading this several years ago after one of the creators posted about it on Reddit. Funny enough they said it’d always be free with no catches. Sounds like a joke now. Every upgrade and especially the premium tier popups have made this app unbearable to use. Sometimes, less is more.

Great but wish there was an option for lifetime subscription

Gideon Malick on

United States

I think the app is phenomenal but I think it would be beneficial for there to be a lifetime subscription. I will never buy a monthly one but a more expensive forever one would interest me.

Great App but…..

XG2324 on

United States

I honestly feel the timer between sets should be a free feature, please note you’ll have to track your own time between sets. Also, it’s insanely hard to reorder exercises. The app doesn’t register your touch/input 9/10 times. If you create your own workouts, take care to order the exercises correctly. Other than that the app is great. Programs are pretty decent. Virtually every exercise is in the library.

Great if not so buggy

Reverend Biscuit on

United States

Tons of frustrating bugs to deal With. Rest timer only alerts intermittently and often just turns off; typing keyboard won’t show up and app has to be restarted; often after finishing and completing a workout, the timer keeps running and workout has to be opened, edited, and resaved. It’s a great concept of an app but the functionality is not up to par.

Designed by the best coaches in bodybuilding and fitness

Anand1612 on

United States

I get access to programs by some of the best coaches in natural bodybuilding and fitness including Eric Helms, Alberto Nunez, Layne Norton, GVS, Natural Hypertrophy and more!

Great until pop ups

shibainus on

United States

Loved the app before and was cool using the free mode and sometimes paid but the addition of having a pop up every time the app is closed is really annoying and greedy. When will devs learn that having a pop up trying to coerce me to pay will only make me hate the app more not feel more tempted to buy it. Maybe if you offered a pay once offer I would do it. At the end of the day this is a glorified database not some revolutionary app that constantly changes.
