Is Bopple free?
Yes, Bopple is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Bopple legit?
⚠️ The Bopple app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
App is hit and miss - sometimes it’s easy, but often the restaurant doesn’t get the order, or they get the order but reject it but the user isn’t notified so heads down to collect only to find it hasn’t been made.
needs to maybe grey out stores
instead of showing them as active and available have them maybe grey out or a warning to call ahead of ordering if they're not signed in so customers don't place orders to a restaurant thats not open...
Good when the app works
It keeps stalling looking for wi-fi, but I’m out and about when ordering. When it works, it is great.
Location does not work
This may be a surprise to some but the vast majority of Australia is not Sydney and those of use who live in the vast majority of Australia could not care less about Sydney. Yet the only venues the app displays are in Sydney, and yes location services for the app are enabled.
Not fully thought through…
I got the “order not confirmed” issue but couldn’t call the provider because they turned the phones off completely. So I wasn’t sure what to do. I tried to help and support, but it just sent away a request. There’s no need live person to speak to.
I ended up having to drive to the restaurant and figure it out bc I didn’t want to risk not getting a refund. They sorted out the order / refund for me but the employees didn’t know how to cancel it and kept telling me I had to. Then I had the door dash driver angrily telling me to cancel it but I couldn’t. If that’s going to be your policy, everyone who uses the app on the providers end should be aware the customer can’t cancel it. :(
Loved the app, before the recent update.
I used this app everyday on my way to work, and the way it listed the items and the checkout was quick and convenient, but the recent update just made the app worse, I don’t see the reason I would need to create a Bopple account just to order takeaway but whatever, but the way everything’s listed in the app, having to scroll through the items one by one especially when there are dozens is just annoying, and now I have to use Face ID for checkout? Why couldn’t it of just been kept the same as it always was?

Ordering is among the best on the market as a hospo owner myself it is a life saver. My Lightspeed POS is so deeply integrated and the commission free delivery is great.
Poorly integrated
App incessantly begs you to log on when you use a QR code then fails to recognise you when you scan the QR code again. Even downloading the app does not allow you to interact with QR codes on the tables, which is the whole point.
Buggy and poorly made
Charges my card then didn’t place the order. All apps must be debugged before they are submitted. How can the developer not test all error codes first? Terrible

Would be good to click on seeing a map of locations
Also to rate the service of cafes etc. I wish I could see what others experience before I choose
