So I signed up to Bosch online through the app. Saw 200mb. I’m like great. I only need to do it for my small DIY project. It’s useless. Your measurements will not transfer. I wasted an hour drawing and measuring on my iPhone. So that I’ll later use it on my ipad. But now I’ll have to do it again on the ipad. What a waste. Or signup for the $20/monthly for that feature. 🤷‍♂️

Worst update to previous app. Totally not responsive and difficult to navigate within app.

Je vois qu’il y a une essaie gratuite de 19$ par mois pour avoir un cloud, qui par ailleurs n’en coûte que 5$ pour 1T chez Apple, c’est très dispendieux pour un application qui est très lente, très pratique mais vraiment trop lente. Je fait fonctionner cet application sur un IPad Pro 2020 donc ce n’ai pas la machine qui ne fournit pas. Gardez le tout gratuit et je mets 4 étoile

After entering one measurement my screen gets stuck at input measurement menu and it won’t go away until reset

I don’t normally write reviews, but in this case I will. There is in my opinion a lot of “junk” out there but once in awhile a product comes along that I think deserves a high five. I am not a professional,but this Bosh Professional GLM 50c, (which has been updated) is one of the best measuring tools I have used.It is handy that can be attached with it’s included case to your belt and is only the size of a small tv remote. At first I was very sceptical as I had a cheaper,none Bosh unit a few years back, which I used to hold down my paperwork,useless!! My best advise is to look it up and see the features, it is fantastic! It holds up to 29 measurements so no need for paper, and is accurate to a 32 of an inch. For the first 8 or 10 measurements I did, I double checked it with a conventional measuring tape, and now that I trust it completely no more tape. You can set it to measure from the front, back or even the middle of the unit. Which is handy if measuring inside a window frame or wall to wall This particular model measures up to 165’ but you will still need a tape(unless the newer models are different) for anything under 5”. There are MANY extremely handy features on this you should check out, and for, at the time under $100,I highly recommend this for professional or a none professional like myself. It also takes only 2 AAA batteries which I have replaced once in 6 months of average use. I know, I sound like I either work for the company or am getting paid, I assure you I am just a hard working labourer, which is extremely tired of the JUNK out there and believe that the very rare items that come along are worth the money and should get a high 5 if they deserve it Regards… Murray

This app is decent for what it is but you cannot add a proper representation of an overhead door. Unless I just cannot find the function i cannot add stairs. I should add that I need to be able to add stairs in front of a man door and change the height of it as a result. It would be extremely helpful to me as an electrician to be able to add boxes to a wall so I can do distribution layouts (and as a plus would be nice to be able to add pipes between the boxes). It would also be nice to be able to measure several rooms together to create an area or floor showing also showing stairs going to another floor and during construction be able to measure an area and then add rooms to that area. And then again as an electrician would be extremely nice to be able to do box layouts in those rooms for switches, plugs and junction boxes if necessary to make it easy to find our boxes when dry wallers bury them. Again pretty decent app but can make lots of improvements to make it an every day use for work app, as it sits it’s better than most I’ve tried but only works well in certain situations coupled with the Bosch blaze 400’ lazer distance meter.

I agree with buddy below the app was great at first and used it for a good while and have lots of measurements that now I can access cause it crashes and there’s no way to retrieve the images and info.

This thing is an embarrassment. The only thing worse than not having an app is having this pathetic, undersupported, laughable mess out there where people can see it. I thought Bosch had a solid brand but now I’m second guessing myself. Users, don’t bother with this thing. It’s garbage. Bosch, please take his thing out of the App Store today!

I can even open this app from day one.

The app might work great if you live in a series of perfect boxes. However, if you have any angles besides 90 degrees in your project, prepare to be frustrated. Also, the zoom function doesn’t work. Useless for recording or estimating real projects.
