Boston 25 News | Live TV Video

Hi Boston 25… Like your station but this app needs work! What about a search function front & center to find segments, video, etc? How about a link or share feature on segments to drive traffic & allow users to share interesting news stories with others? There are more, but these are basics!

I realize that they have to monetize these apps, but come on! First, the “All Things Basementy” guy, followed by two full length commercials before the video of the news story runs. Forget about it, just read the text.

The headlines and information you’re sending me in this app for breaking stories is not helpful when each and every time you give the bare minimum of information and make users open to read full detailed story to even know the location of where this breaking story is occuring . Interruptions throughout the day not helpful if the news being reported is not even in the local area.

Now 1/3 of iPhone 11 screen is taken up by video of there choosing that I never watch. No way to collapse or set a preference to not show it. Bottom 1/4 is taken up by an ad. So very little scrolling space left to actually read the news. News is often days old - why report on a ball game 3 days ago; along with the one two days ago and the one last night! I can never tell which is the one I haven’t read yet until I start reading it over again.

Some of these ads are misleading and could be dangerous to less intelligent readers. Please at least check ads before allowing them on your website.

Great job fixing the duplicate audio. Great news app.

I’m tired not being able to get the news and weather when it’s on.

If I am on the app. And I am trying to watch a video. It closes. I don’t like it. If I am going to use the app. It takes some time to load up. And to process.
