It doesn’t count
Tried it on a few songs. The algorithm is pointless. You can tap for ages, perfectly in tact with the track, and it’ll be increasing bpm every time you tap. The bpm has to be detected with 2-3 taps and stay constant.

Only detects BPM (and not that well) for free, all while plastering an upgrade ad across half the screen
How do I cancel?
Unless you are detecting the bpm of your top 40’s chart pop music the auto-detect feature won’t work. If you’re a DJ and you spin edits, remixes, or underground goodies, then you are better off tapping the screen, which is free!
A metronome has no need to be behind a five dollar a month pay wall
The free version of this app has virtually no functionality; it just counts BPM that you tap out as you listen to another music source. Every other control on the app sends you too a splash screen that tries to get you to pay $3/month. Extremely deceptive.
$1.99 a week or $2.99 a month?! Highway robbery… Give me a week I’ll put something together…
This is simple BPM app, where you manually tap to the beat/song you’re detecting the BPM of. While it works fine, it’s not what I was really looking for. There’s other apps out there that auto-detect BPM and also give you a confidence rating if the song is detected by Shazam in the app. Much nicer and easier.
They put me on a $2 weekly plan when I agreed to a $3 monthly plan. I didn’t get hit. Canceled during free trial. There are other apps that do this same thing free with ads. Not worth it. Especially if they’re pulling fast ones. The most accurate I’ve found is called Metronome (go figure). App icon is white with a black “60” and 3 yellow lines.
You should add Ableton Link!
