Great app, extremely beginner-friendly
Full disclosure: I am a sighted user, I just want to use my iPhone in VoiceOver with screen curtain on for fun. So far, a huge barrier has been typing. I have not figured out a way that works for me. iPhones have Braille input options, but I cannot even read Braille, much less type it. This app walks through the entire set-up of Voiceover, explains how to use the rotor. All text boxes and buttons are labelled correctly; even the settings app has some errors, but this typing app is perfect. It is very easy to navigate - it relies on simple gestures, mostly just swiping down for reading or double clicking to activate buttons/text fields. Even going back to the main page has a button at the end of each section. That makes it much easier to navigate the app. The lessons are short and very quick, so there’s a real feeling of progress. It’s also a free app - everything else I’ve found so far was some hugely expensive subscription. So honestly, if there’s a ko-fi or whatever for this guy, I’d pay just to keep it accessible.
