Breadpad Reviews

Brilliant app!

BreadboardEater on

United Kingdom

This app is brilliant for breadboard simulations. The variety of options available is amazing and the amount of feedback you get, even on the free version, is good. I think the 3 star rating as of this review does not show how good this app actually is. However, there are two things that could be improved. The first is adding an overview of all the components available, and, say, drag and drop them onto a canvas. The other is that when adding a capacitor, it consistently crashes. I don’t know if this is a problem with my iPad or if anyone else experiences it. Otherwise, this is a brilliant breadboarding app and simulator for people to use.

Projects don’t open

When either making a new project or opening a pre-made example I only get a black screen nothing shows up

Frequent crashes, very buggy

AppSupApp on

United Kingdom

Placement of any elements on a board is very unintuitive. I would love to have an overview of all of the elements available. Here instead you have to select the placement slots first, and select precisely the exact number and layout of them for any options to appear. Even then the menu of element selection is super buggy and frequently slides down without presenting any opportunity to actually select anything. It also needs many more chips to be available. How do I add an op-amp to the circuit? A timer? Only logic ICs are apparently available.

Love the app

I love the app so much It mixes to be able to experiment with breadboards on the go (without having to bring an actual breadboard) But I would love if the app had LEDs and A 555 timer IC thanks

App closes out anytime oscilloscope is used

Every time I would try and use the oscilloscope and simulate the app would instantly break and close out. That same file wouldn’t be openable for a few minutes.

It was ok.

It should add leds

doesn't work, asks for money

its a breadboard but all the features are broken unless you put in $40 a year. insane.

It can always be better and come something great

I absolutely love the concept but it needs some work. I am currently studying electrical engineering and saw this app on a Instagram ad and thought it looked cool and might help me build a few devices. Unfortunately did not have some of the features I wanted but did not have which is obviously more of a personal opinion but I believed it would help you build more users. Now here’s something’s I would like to see on this: 1. Beginner Friendly Tutorials explaining each component and its use and how to use it on this app. Same goes for the other aspects in this device like coding. Maybe a website or something that you can link to explaining everything. 2. More electric components, such as h-bridges 3. Library for better organized for components. 4. More appealing and better understanding layout. For instance if I was a student or someone younger, this app could be a great learning source for many people and possible collaboration with Apple itself to help many people get into engineering. And help many engineers practice or get better at understanding their work. Go even farther and add physics engines to in the future.

3 stars so maybe the devs will see. Will change

Hi, just a question. Love the app, no issues. Just wondering if there are plans to add switches to the list of features? Would love the make Logic Gates for teaching but without the risk lol

Awesome app

I agree with another’s reviewer that switches and LEDs would be very helpful
