Awesome app to use when indoor training
Very useful apps for those train indoor, worth to give a try
App requires “medals” for use. Medals are acquired by purchase or watching ad’s. I’m an adult, just let me buy the app and stop it with the semi-free bait & switch antics. Downloaded app to use HR mode with a Wahoo Kickr bike, no idea if it works. Can’t find the number of “Medals” that are in my account. Beginning my ride and app announces only 5hours per month, then announces 1hour 9mins allowed. Licensing in this app is a mess.
I found this app because I was looking for a low/no cost trainer app with support for Apple Watch HR sync. I got so much more. It does everything you’d expect but the reason you MUST try this app is for the support. I found a bug and some missing features I wanted, so I reached out to the developer. The bug was fixed and suggestions implemented within 24 hours! Try getting that level of service from Zwift or Bkool.
Breakaway is an app for people who want to save some money on the high-cost of structured training. For the equivalent of a few dollars a month, you can connect your phone to your trainer and import your own structured workouts manually or from services like Intervals.icu and Training Peaks. The app has a lot of features and customization options and the support is first class. If you’re more interested in training (Trainer Road, Today’s Plan) rather than virtual riding (Zwift etc), it’s well worth downloading to save a few dollars.

Downloaded app to use HR mode with a Wahoo Kickr bike, no idea if it works, despite finding my bike and HRM via BT, app does not seem to display the Target HR and so I am unable to set the Target.
This is a great, no-nonsense app for guided workouts and recording. It connects instantly and seamlessly to my Bluetooth trainer and to my heart rate monitor. There’s a great variety of built-in rides, and their organization by tags is helpful. Records of rides are left automatically for logging/analysis. This is what I was looking for.
I was trying to use this for my Echelon, but couldn’t..the developer emailed me back and forth trying to figure it out..turns out Echelon won’t work because they lockdown their Bluetooth 😒 BUT the app works wonderfully with my husband’s bike trainer and he’s enjoyed to app a lot.
