Would be 5* if you could record the try scorer

Armadill076 on

Been trialing a few different apps for recording the stats of my sons junior rugby games, and this would be my favourite by far - if it had the ability to record who scored each try. Other apps I’ve tried have the ability to set up a ‘home team’ with a player list, and then you simply pick the scorer with each home team try recorded. Unfortunately, without this feature, I’m going to have to look elsewhere. Such a shame as it would easily by 5* otherwise.

Great App! With a couple of additions it would be 5 stars

Superb app for recording stats for my son’s rugby teams. Simple to use, and the players in the team now ask for immediate feedback at the end of the games. The ability to record outcomes of set piece, penalties (in addition to the score) helps us give honest feedback to the squad (parents and spectators). It would be a solid 5 stars if it could be amended to record the number of phases/rucks and ruck success. Similarly addition of the the 50/22 kick would be good. It’s also missing the ability to record the Name/ playing position of the Try scorer and the Converted by player Playing position of carded players. Please could that be in the next revision? Thanks again!

There’s fantastic stuff in this app but some improvements

I love this app. There is so many positives and the breakdown of stats is really good. It deals with the main action points of a game well but there are some much needed additions. Kick Retention at KO and Drop out. It knows who’s recovered ball but doesnt give this stat. It should Knock ons. It assumes that all knock ons are in possession. In open play thats fine as you can register an interception then knock on. Its not accurate but it will do. It really falls down at knock on at the ruck by the opposition. This needs fixing. Ruck going static. This is a significant omission. If a ruck goes static then there is a scrum for the side going forwards. There is no way to show a scrum in this scenario. Sad this is an issue as the Maul options work really well. Why cant I type the name of the scorer and assists? Seem that in the downtime between try and kick this would be easily doable. How can I share these stats without screengrabs? Share option? PDF output? Finally a phase counter on the main screen would be a fantastic addition and then obviously translate to a rucks won/lost stat which is essential and suggests a ‘tackles made’ stat So many positives and if the above happens its 5 stars all day long. Well done
