I’m an IBCLC in a large Univeristy hospital and private practice, have been using this app for years. The weight loss calculator is excellent.
I really enjoy this app and use the weight loss calculator in clinical practice. I would love if you could add a "clear" button if possible otherwise I love the app.
I love the weight loss calculator!!! The parents love the amount per feed. Helps build credibility with physicians and parents.
I've found this app great for on the spot teaching for nursing staff. Quick & short on long explanations for staff when evidenced based information is needed while on the floors.
I to bought this app because it said info from Dr. Hale and the AAP. No such luck. Does include a link to lactmed which I already had. Grrrrrrrrr
I thought this would be helpful to plug info into the calculator however the app is very generic and not useful for experienced CLC's. I'm already disappointed. would not recommend.
Great app for clinicians. I use it all day helping new parents in the hospital .the links are helpful.only app I recommend to coworkers.
I use this tool with my BFing WIC clients and it has proven to be a valuable tool for phone triage, clinic visits and postpartum evaluations. I would not recommend it for a mom use at home there are other more suitable apps.
Seems like it will have info on medications in breastfeeding from three different great sources (AAP, Hale, and Lactmed) but actually has no med info at all in the app itself (just a link to the already-free Lactmed). Calculator and general info may be useful to some, but I was buying it for the med info, so was very disappointed.
