There are plenty of other options that work better than this app like Transit, Google Maps, etc. the only good part is that you can pay from your phone. Been using the app for several months and it really needs an upgrade

You can’t add any debt card to purchase any tickets

Like a fool, I thought this app would be good. But, like everything else MARTA, it’s a humongous disappointment. It frequently finds new ways to malfunction. The first few times I couldn’t find an employee to help me. When I finally did, she advised I contact customer service. When I emailed customer service, they said I had to call. When I called during the hours specified, the department I needed was closed. They might say they care about their customers, but I judge people not by their words, but by their actions. I’ve got trips locked up on this app that I can’t use, and it’s a struggle to get them back. I pity those who must rely on possibly the worst public transportation in the USA. DO NOT USE THIS APP. And maybe avoid MARTA altogether, if possible.

It‘s been a long time since I‘ve seen a mass transit app this poorly designed. Maybe it‘s that the designers/developers just aren‘t very experienced. Maybe its that the MARTA took the cheapest bid offered (always a bad idea). Regardless, this is an absolute joke for a city of this size. Look to nearly any other city‘s transit app and copy what they do. Even if you copy all of their app‘s worst design decisions, it will still be lightyears ahead of this.

Can’t show code of my active ticket.

Great in concept, but it malfunctions at the worst moments. I just activated a ride and kept trying to get the app to show the QR code. It wouldn't. The station display kept saying the train was coming 6 min ... 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... After my 10th attempt (and third app restart) I have up and used my spare card (thereby wasting the credit I activated on the app). Right after I boarded the train the QR code decided to display. Stuff like this happens a lot.

I don’t like I’ve ever given an app such a low rating. If the app works nothing else does. The point of this app is to make it easier to load fares onto the accounts without a wait. Nothing about this app is convenient. I’m very disappointed in Marta. Too many people use and depend on Marta, just for nothing to work in this app properly.

The app is just about as non functional as the actual bus drivers they off no Apple Pay support which I find amusing as this is supposed to be the new upgraded app 2.0 but seems to me as a downgrade as the old app allowed you to quickly charge your account with Apple Pay and not requiring your card to be on file as this app does which is time consuming especially if you have a imbecile bus driver demanding you show proof of payment in real time and they have no courtesy whatsoever I can’t wait until I no longer have to ride this mess of a bus system
