Bit American...
Just what I was looking for - an app for suggesting what type of beer matches certain foods. It just seems to assume you live ‘stateside’ - on the suggested pairing screen there are no fewer than 13 American variants, yet only 3 Belgian and 3 English beers(!) ...I mean, what even is ‘American brown ale’? And apparently they have wheat beer over there. Who knew?
I suggest a more balanced, international representation, which is not a big ask - just accept that all these categories of ‘American’ beer are unnecessary. Cross reference the beer styles in a less partisan manner, then an interesting app can become useful for it’s intended purpose.
