This is a brilliant app. I wish the conjugations were sounded out by a human being, but I am thankful for the effort made to keep the Irish language alive.

If only there were more apps like this for Gaeilge

(My opinion) the Irish language is both easier and at the same time harder than English: easier in that the rules are actually rules (and while there are "exceptions" I haven't discovered anywhere near as many exceptions to the exceptions as there are in English). Harder in that there are many many more "sounds" associated with a single word (because of conjugation, initial mutations, etc). The former make learning the written language easier, the latter makes learning the listening/speaking harder. This app is an incredibly valuable resource in hearing all the sounds associated a particular verb. I can't stress how useful I've found this to help with my listening/recognition skills. In an ideal world one would also have a "noun" version of this app that scrolls though all the different cases (at least nominative and genetive, singular and plural). Indeed, these are presented in two main online dictionaries, but being able to listen to the sounds would be a high benefit to the learner (which I laboriously do now by going to abair myself). I suppose the challenge here would be choosing a useful set of nouns to include in the app? -Ó Fiannaidhe
