Nice of the developer to give the app away for free. I know he’s been putting a lot of hard work into it!
Great app To the dev: Is there a way to make it so we can add a list of links? Or multiple at once? For instance if I had a plain list of links but wanted to bring them in and copy the list as HTML. Maybe possible with shortcuts?
I'm not the best technology but this is so easy to use. If you need one place to go for all the information you have been collecting, then this is a app you need to get. It helps me keep all my links for gardening and travel organized in one place and I can color code them in files so they are easy to access. Super helpful when you need to reference something quickly.
Keeping track of links has been an ordeal since the dawn of the web. There have been a bunch of different approaches, each of varying quality. One thing most neglect, though, is the need to get those links. Most allow you to copy and paste a URL, but what if you need them in Markdown/JSON/HTML/etc. format? That's where Bridges has you covered. In addition to offering an intuitive interface for browsing/managing your collection of links, it also offers a number of ways to retrieve those links in other formats. If you get the Mac app you even gain the benefit of iCloud sync between your favorite platforms. It's early days for this app yet, but the developer seems receptive to feedback. I'm particularly keeping my fingers crossed for the option to email links (in any of the supported formats) to myself. Maybe in v1.1?
I collect so many links for my podcast each week, and Bridges makes it so easy to get those links into my show notes without any trouble. It’s fast, easy to use, and does its job well. It’s quickly become an essential part of my workflow.
