BT Email Reviews

Not sending emails

jo12476 on

United Kingdom

I have had problems with this app since the start. Server outages are annoying when trying to log in on phone or search for an email. This procedure cannot be carried out due to server outage. This also happens when trying to log into my email account on my phone and so I am without emails until it decides to let me in. By far the worst is not sending emails. They just either vanish completely or sit forever in the outbox and refuse to go. Once this starts happening at random times then it will not send another email until i do the following (this is in case this is happening to someone else) using an Ipad in particular. Fully close down the BT app in Ipad, reset Ipad turning of an on. Go to BT app and delete it fully and go to app store reinstall and sign in. It is super annoying as you can’t know when this will happen again, you can not see the email in the outbox just the heading so you cannot cut and paste the content and try again - everything you have typed is lost. Sometimes you do not know until you ask the recipient did you get my last email or check sent mail to find no it didn’t. This needs sorting

I have been with BT for about 30 years. This morning i spent 2 hours on the messenger to deal with a problem I have been asking and reporting for around 3 weeks. I cannot send any emails from any of my accounts or any of my iPhones iPads etc. I still have not had it put right. I think I will have to find some other supplier I’m fed up paying so much each month but not getting the service.

I’m having major issues currently with both the app and my online account. I can’t log in on the computer and the app won’t allow me to search for contacts via the search bar?!

Annoying

Before the change I could access all my accounts - including 2 business accounts!! and despite my previous rant about the inefficiency of this app in allowing access to all my email accounts things haven’t improved. In fact (1) most annoying, randomly I have to sign back in to my emails before I can access them (2) I am constantly getting a box advising me to Update myEmail... doesn’t work!

This app is truly shocking... the worst app I’ve ever used. It seem to glitch out most times I use and and certainly every single time I print an email. You would think that BT could do better than this !!! The yahoo app worked like a dream but BT fell out with them !!! My review for this app ... less than useless !! On searching received emails constant server outage messages !!!
