BTB Event Live

Engage with the tournament

Published by: BeTheBeast

Description

BeTheBeast's BTB Event Live app provides you with the inside information about the recruiting activity that is happening at your child's events. Our app tells you which colleges & coaches are scouting the event. It then also closes the recruiting "loop" by notifying you, after the tournament or camp, which colleges "followed" your child for the purpose of evaluating them.
You also have easy access to the full event schedule (with real-time updates), team list, rosters, brackets, and up to date score information during the event. You can also follow teams to gain quick access to the schedules for just the players/teams you are interested in.
You must be a verified parent/guardian/family member of an athlete participating in a US-based club or high school tournament/camp powered by the BeTheBeast Event platform in order to gain access to this app. This app is not intended for college coaches or club coaches.

bad

One of the worst streaming services I have seen. Doesn’t work and the camera angles when working was awful too. It is unfortunate when there is no other option to watch games.

Doesn’t work

Streaming didn’t work at all for final day of Nike Tournament of Champions in Gainesville. IT Support stopped responding after first two matches were unavailable & we couldn’t watch our team play in.championship match. They can record the games and try to sell them to parents, but can’t deliver the streaming services we paid $50 for. Don’t waste your $.

Do not buy

They are the worst. I don’t understand why anyone get into a contract with them. The quality is subpar. Camera angles are awful. Sometimes there’s no video streaming. I’ve had to fight charges and won every time. Do not buy. Do not have your club use them. Baller tv is 1000 x better. Oh, and good luck using be the beast for any highlights for your player. Wish I could give zero stars.

Do not buy this if you really want to watch the game

Waste of $50 for the tournament stream. Games are rarely complete. Video is terrible if even available. Can not believe people would charge for this junk.

It’s a pathetic app

The video quality is terrible. The camera is junk. Barely follows the play of the game. I guess it’s better than not seeing anything

Horrible

You can't see the score and the camera is usually filming the wrong end of the court.

Not worth it

I just purchased the streaming for the End of Trails women’s tournament and it was horrible. If I tried to full screen the livestream, the screen went black and didn’t show me anything. At most I could watch 2 minutes of live play during peak times without the screen blacking out and needing to be refreshed. I contacted their IT and they were not helpful at all, nor did they make any real effort to problem solve the issues - they just stated that the camera was working. In an elite game, the camera was panned out so far that you could see the entire bleachers instead of focusing in on the court and the players. I was eager to see my daughter play, but this was absolutely not worth it. The picture is grainy and pixelated, and it doesn’t follow the ball so when entire plays were often missed. It appears as if they were streaming from a cell phone line without sufficient bandwidth.

Zero stars

Terrible service. Streaming continuously buffers, cuts out or cuts the game off early. Can’t see the score at all. Save your money. Do not purchase.

They only stream some of the scheduled games, the streaming was patchy, video and audio not synched, and playback is useless. All this for $70. Don’t bother.

Awful…

I would give zero stars if possible! Purchased to watch my son play baseball in Florida. Spent $70 and not all fields have live stream and the audio comes through about 20 seconds ahead of a play. So you hear cheering or the ball hit the bat before you see it happen. Emailed them and received an email back stating they checked everything and it was working on their end. I sent them video of what we were experiencing and never hear back. Searched for their phone number and it goes directly to voicemail. Also the screen shows a score graphic but no one updates it so you have no idea what’s going on. TERRIBLE company and I’ll be challenging the charge with our bank.
