I’ve used this service one time and have already decided to go with a different option (probably Rinse) once my one month subscription is finished. First of all, the website has conflicting information. In one place, it implies that you provide your own bag. In the FAQ, it says that they provide the bag for you. I emailed support asking for clarification and never received a response after a week. Not off to a great start. (I ended up providing my own bag) So I scheduled a pickup for Saturday afternoon. I received a text on Friday stating “We look forward to your pickup tomorrow.” The day of my pickup, I receive an email saying that they don’t service Manhattan on weekends and that I need to cancel my order. This is not stated *anywhere* on their website, app, or FAQ. It also is not stated in their welcome email/text after you subscribe. It would have been nice to know that the most convenient time for me to be home for pickups and deliveries was completely off limits before I dropped $100. So I rescheduled my pickup for 6-7pm on Monday. At around 6:55pm, when they hadn’t arrived yet, I check the app again. They changed my window to 6-8pm without notifying me — a window that did not work for me. Fortunately the driver arrived exactly at 7pm, but just be advised that they will change your pickup/delivery window without telling you. I scheduled my delivery for 6-7pm Tuesday. At 6:30, I received a text stating that they were running late and would arrive between 8-10pm. At 7:30pm, I received a text stating that the driver was having car problems and my delivery would come the next day. I asked what time it would arrive, and they said my window was 7-8am. Perhaps you’re noticing a trend here! At 6:20am, I received a text that they were 15 minutes away. I normally keep my phone on silent, but I kept the ringer on specifically because I expected another mishap. Lo and behold, they showed up 30 minutes before the window that *they* gave me. There are plenty of other options out there that will allow you to avoid the headache of this terrible service. Rinse Repeat is $96 for two bags a month with an annual subscription, and they don’t have a weight limit (along with other perks like weekend service.)
Outstanding service! Bubbly goes out of their way to make things look great! Best money I’ve spent on such an essential convenience. This was my second time doing their drop-off service. They came to my door picked up and dropped off the laundry on time. Everything was folded to perfection. I did not know what to expect and I’m truly blown away. Great job, look forward to using this service again! Giving Bubbly a 10 out of 10!
Used this laundry service one time- when i got my clothes back(late) they reeked of cigarettes and food? I asked for a refund and have now sent 4 emails with zero response. I’m out $140 because i spent $70 with Bubbly and then had to send it out again with another service. Disgusting.
I truly gave this service a chance, over a year to be more precise, and constantly had issues. They would try to come earlier than you scheduled or even worse show you much later even days later with your laundry. They do not provide a number you can call so you have to email or text with any issues. The last straw was when I received the wrong laundry back and they couldn’t even muster up an apology. They have absolutely no customer service and have a frustrating lack of communication. I would give no stars if possible.
Honestly, would give this a miss. The customer service was pretty bad about half the time I used it (for 8+ months). Delivery/pickup would be delayed and you don’t get an update unless you text first. Would just stick with a traditional wash/fold.
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Twice now, they’ve completely missed the delivery window without a heads up. It’s also impossible to get in touch with someone at the service because no one responds to either the number you’re supposed to text or their support email. Absolutely stay away from this service, don’t waste your time or money here.
