You open Buck The Critics… You fancy a horror so you filter for those… Oh look… here’s 4 or 5 options that your friends rated 8 or above…
But it’s smarter than that! As you and your friends review movies, it tracks and compares your rating histories. You build up a ‘trust’ score… Through super advanced algorithms that have absolutely nothing to do with AI, the ratings you see are weighted based on ratings, averages and trust. The scores you see are personal to you. They’re a prediction of how YOU would rate a film and they get more accurate the more you and your friends review stuff.
So how do you review stuff? Well you can browse any film or TV show through our integration with the enormous TMDB database of course!

In fact if you tell the app what streaming services you have. It will suggest to you the top stuff that is available on those services when you give your phone a shake. Tactile!

Sleep like a baby knowing that your movie reviews have been validated by your friends! Through Buck The Critics groundbreaking thumb buttons, you can upvote or downvote any review. Heck you can even get a discussion going!
However beware… If you do something mental like rate Galaxy Quest poorly, you might find yourself getting ratio’d by your friends… Ouch.
